Usage and credits
Every plan that includes Ask Otto comes with a free monthly allowance. Once you exceed it, Otto starts consuming Smart Credits based on conversation length — shorter chats cost less. You can track your free tier usage and credit consumption directly in the Otto chat.
Smart Credits are shared across all AI features — Ask Otto, AI Listing Generator, and background removal. Your free Otto allowance is separate and resets each billing period. See Smart Credits for monthly allocations and pricing.
When your Smart Credits run out, Otto becomes unavailable until your next billing cycle or until you purchase more credits. You can still use all other Nifty features normally.

There is also a support chat on our documentation site that can answer general questions about Nifty features — but it's a support-only tool that cannot access your account, inventory, or sales data, and cannot take actions or interact with Nifty on your behalf.
