Selling on Depop
Use this guide to set up Depop for use with Nifty — Depop Payments, Depop Shipping, and how titles and Boosting behave when you list and relist through Nifty.
Depop Payments
To create new listings on Depop, you must first set up Depop Payments:
Open the Depop app
Attempt to create a new listing
You'll be prompted to sign up for Depop Payments — complete this process
Depop Shipping
If you'd like to use Depop Shipping, follow these steps:
Open the Depop app and navigate to the Shipping section
Select Depop Shipping
Create a test listing using this shipping method (you can delete it immediately after)
This ensures Depop Shipping is available when listing through Nifty.
Titles
You may notice an AI-generated title when viewing your listing on Depop directly — this is because Depop doesn't have a traditional title field. The title is generated by their platform and cannot be edited.
Boosting
Depop's Boost feature increases visibility for your listings. Unfortunately, boosts don't carry over when you relist — you'll need to manually boost items in the Depop app after relisting.
