# Welcome to Nifty!

Nifty is an all-in-one solution used by resellers to manage their business end-to-end. The goal is simple: spend less time, make more sales.

### What we offer

Most reselling services focus on automation, crosslisting, or analytics, but not all three. Nifty brings everything into one place so your tools work together:

* [**Automation**](/automation/dashboard) — We automate repetitive but important tasks such as sharing, relisting, offering, and following to boost buyer engagement.
* [**Crosslisting**](/crosslisting/crosslisting) — We make it easy to list your products across multiple marketplaces, increasing your overall reach and sales potential.
* [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics) — We automatically track every sale and business expense, providing insights and exports so you have a clear picture of profit.

Every plan includes a [7-day free trial](/subscriptions/free-trial), so you can see how Nifty fits your business before committing to a subscription.

### Who Nifty is for

Nifty supports resellers at every stage — from just getting started to managing 10,000+ active items across multiple marketplaces.

Common use cases include:

* **New sellers** — You're listing your first items and want good systems in place from day one.
* **Growing side hustles** — You're selling part-time and want automation and crosslisting to save time and reduce manual work.
* **High-volume operations** — You have a 6-figure reselling business and need a reliable [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager), [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting), and [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics) to keep everything organized.

If you're deciding when to start, a good rule of thumb is to consider Nifty once you're already making sales and are ready to scale.

### Works on all devices

Our website is fully optimized for phones, tablets, and computers. Simply use your preferred browser to access all features, no matter which device you choose.

Although you won't find Nifty in the App Store or Google Play, you can easily add a shortcut to your phone or tablet and access it like any other app. Here's how:

#### iPhone and iPad

1. Open Safari and go to [app.nifty.ai](https://app.nifty.ai).
2. Tap the **Share button** (bottom center).
3. Select **Add to Home Screen**.

#### Android

1. Open Chrome and go to [app.nifty.ai](https://app.nifty.ai).
2. Tap the **three dot menu** (top right).

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** Make sure to bookmark [app.nifty.ai](https://app.nifty.ai) — that's our core platform. If you bookmark [nifty.ai](https://nifty.ai), you'll land on our homepage and have to tap **Log In** each time you open Nifty.
{% endhint %}

### Set it and forget it

Nifty runs entirely in the cloud and does not require you to keep your device on. Once you set up your automations, Nifty automatically runs like clockwork, day after day.

### Built-in AI

Nifty uses AI throughout the platform to save you time. When you crosslist, AI auto-populates repetitive details across marketplaces. Our [**AI Listing Generator**](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator) creates complete, multi-marketplace drafts from photos alone. And [**Ask Otto**](/otto/ask-otto) is your AI assistant that helps you run and grow your reselling business.

### Compliance and safety

Nifty works closely with supported marketplaces to ensure our services comply with their guidelines. We carefully design our automation features to follow platform rules, operating only at approved rates.

Our top priority is to protect your account and ensure the ongoing success of your business, giving you peace of mind while helping you sell more.

### Available regions

Nifty is currently available to sellers based in the United States, its territories, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

# What's New

## August 2026

### 📣 Announcements

1. **New regions**: Nifty is now available to sellers based in the United Kingdom and Australia!
2. [**Poshmark relisting cycle**](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-poshmark): Poshmark recently removed their "Excessive Listing Removal Policy". In response, we've updated the minimum relisting cycle from 60 days to 30 days.

### 🚀 New features

1. [**Bulk Crosslisting**](/crosslisting/bulk-crosslisting): Select multiple items at once and let AI crosslist them for you instantly. Remember to set up your [Pricing Rules](/crosslisting/pricing-rules), [Shipping Presets](/crosslisting/listing-shortcuts#shipping-presets), and [Custom Instructions](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator) for best results.

## July 2026

### 🚀 New features

1. **Pricing suggestions**: When you add or edit an item, Nifty now suggests a price from recent comparable sales (if available).

### 🌟 Improvements

1. **Trading cards and coins**: Nifty now supports listing "graded" items on eBay, such as trading cards and coins.
2. **AI mapping accuracy**: Improved logic for mapping category, brand, and other details between marketplaces during crosslisting.
3. **Auto-resuming automations**: When your automations pause — because a marketplace disconnects or a payment fails — Nifty now restarts them on its own once you reconnect or your payment goes through.

## June 2026

### 📣 Announcements

1. **Depop $1,000 giveaway**: List 10 items on Depop through Nifty for a shot at $1,000, a free year of Nifty, and a free year of Depop Boosting. [Terms and conditions apply.](https://depophelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/47201562285457-Depop-x-Nifty-Prize-draw-Terms-and-Conditions)

### 🚀 New features

1. [**AI Studio**](/crosslisting/photo-editing-and-management#ai-studio): Restyle your product photos with AI — remove backgrounds in any color, or apply ghost mannequin, flat lay, shadow, and virtual model edits to one or many photos at once.
2. [**Bulk edit**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-edit): Edit condition, condition notes, quantity, COGS, and SKU across multiple selected items at once — toggle on just the fields you want to change and leave the rest untouched.
3. [**Pricing Rules**](/crosslisting/pricing-rules): Set a primary marketplace and tell Nifty how your other marketplaces' prices should compare to it. The new [**Price inconsistency**](/inventory-management/warnings) warning flags items whose prices have drifted out of line.
4. [**Missing SKU warning**](/inventory-management/warnings): Turn on the new Missing SKU warning to flag any item that doesn't have a SKU set.

### 🌟 Improvements

1. [**Mercari relist pricing**](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-mercari): When we relist your Mercari items, we now pick a smarter starting price — the original price if **Smart Pricing** is still active, and the current price otherwise.

## May 2026

### 📣 Announcements

1. [**Whatnot**](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-whatnot): Whatnot is now available on our Crosslisting and Bundle plans!
2. [**Connecting Depop**](/connections/connecting-depop): We've partnered with Depop to offer a more seamless connection experience. New connections do not require a magic link, and will last 12 months.

### 🌟 Improvements

1. [**Dismiss Needs Attention items**](/home/home#needs-attention): Hide items from your Needs Attention card with the new Dismiss button — dismissed items move to a Dismissed tab and stay there for 7 days.

## April 2026

### 🚀 New features

1. [**Label filters**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter): Filter your inventory by labels with include and exclude mode. Include labels to show only matching items, or exclude labels to hide them. You can use both at the same time — for example, include **Summer** while excluding **Consigned**.
2. [**AI shipping preset selection**](/crosslisting/listing-shortcuts#shipping-presets): Add usage conditions to your shipping presets and let AI automatically pick the right one for each listing during AI generation.
3. [**Edit with Otto**](/otto/ask-otto): Ask Otto to update item titles, descriptions, conditions, condition descriptions, prices, quantities, cost of goods, and SKUs. Otto will propose the changes for your approval before anything goes live.

### 🌟 Improvements

1. [**Smart credit history**](/crosslisting/smart-credits): See a detailed breakdown of your smart credit activity — top-ups, monthly allowances, bonuses, and refunds — on the Subscription page.

2. [**Customize AI generation**](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator): Custom instructions let you control how the AI writes titles, descriptions, and conditions.

### 🌟 Improvements

1. [**Additional insights**](/analytics/insights-and-reports): The Insights tab now shows sell-through rate, units listed vs. sold, and averages by marketplace.

## January 2026

### 🚀 New features

1. [**Active Inventory report**](/analytics/insights-and-reports): Export a list of your currently listed items from Profit & Loss.
2. [**Relist from menu**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager): Relist delisted listings directly from the listing menu in the Inventory Manager.
3. [**List instantly**](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items#saving-and-publishing): No more waiting for your listings to go live! Nifty will publish in the background, saving you even more time.

### 🌟 Improvements

1. [**Optimized recreates**](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-recreates-ebay): Nifty now waits until your eBay listing has 30 minutes left before recreating it, so it stays listed as long as possible.

# Why One Tool Matters

If you use one tool for automation and another for crosslisting, they can't talk to each other — and that causes real problems for your business.

### The problem with separate tools

Here's an example: Your automation tool relists a pair of jeans on Poshmark, creating a brand new listing with a new ID. But your crosslisting tool doesn't know about the new listing — it's still watching the old one. So when those jeans sell, it tries to delist a listing that doesn't exist anymore. Now you've got the same sold item still live on eBay and Mercari.

You end up choosing between fresh listings or reliable delisting — or spending time manually fixing mismatches.

### Why Nifty is different

With Nifty, your automation and crosslisting features share the same [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager). When we relist an item, we manage the transition seamlessly — swapping the old and new listings without losing track of where your item lives across marketplaces. [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting) continues to run smoothly, because everything stays connected.

This is why we recommend the **Bundle** plan for sellers who want both automation and crosslisting. It's not just about saving money — it's about features that actually work together.

### What happens if I relist outside of Nifty?

If you relist using another tool or directly on a marketplace (like eBay's "end and sell similar"), Nifty will eventually pull in the new listing — but it won't know it's the same item. You'll end up with duplicate rows in your **Inventory Manager**, and **Auto-Delisting** won't work correctly until you fix them manually.

You can still make it work, but it takes extra effort. See [Finding and Fixing Duplicates](/inventory-management/finding-and-fixing-duplicates) for how to clean things up.

# Choosing a Plan

Nifty offers [three types of plans](https://nifty.ai/pricing): **Automation**, **Crosslisting**, and **Bundle**. Whether you're just starting out or already selling on multiple marketplaces, there's a plan that fits your business.

### Which plan is right for me?

| I want...                                                                                                           | Choose           |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- |
| Automatic shares, relists, offers, and follows — without crosslisting | **Automation** |
| Crosslisting, auto-delisting, AI listing generation, Ask Otto, and multi-marketplace analytics — without automation | **Crosslisting** |
| The best of both worlds at a lower price (most popular!) | **Bundle** |

### Automation plans

**Automation** plans handle the daily tasks that drive sales: [**Shares**](/automation/automatic-shares), [**Relists**](/automation/automatic-relists), [**Offers**](/automation/automatic-offers), and [**Follows**](/automation/automatic-follows). Set up your automations from any device — once they're running, Nifty works entirely in the cloud, so there's no need to keep your device on.

| Plan                    | Price (monthly) | Price (yearly) | What's included                                                   |
| ----------------------- | --------------- | -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Poshmark Automation** | $25/mo          | $22/mo         | Shares, relists, offers, and follows on Poshmark only             |
| **eBay Automation**     | $25/mo          | $22/mo         | Recreates and offers on eBay only                                 |
| **Full Automation** | $39.99/mo | $35.99/mo | All automation features across Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, and Depop |

Choose **Poshmark Automation** or **eBay Automation** if you only sell on one of these platforms.

Choose **Full Automation** if you sell on multiple marketplaces and want everything automated.

### Crosslisting plans

**Crosslisting** plans help you take your items cross-platform, guard against double sales, and track business performance. You get the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager), [**AI Listing Generator**](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator), [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting), [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics), [**Ask Otto**](/otto/ask-otto), and [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits).

| Plan                  | Price (monthly) | Price (yearly) | Who it's for                              |
| --------------------- | --------------- | -------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Crosslisting Plus** | $39.99/mo       | $35.99/mo      | Sellers with 1,500 or fewer active items  |
| **Crosslisting Pro**  | $59.99/mo       | $53.99/mo      | Sellers with more than 1,500 active items |

Both plans include the same features — the only difference is how many items you can manage and how many **Smart Credits** you receive each month (500 for Plus, 1,000 for Pro).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Quick rule of thumb:** If your largest marketplace has 1,500 listings or fewer, choose **Plus**. If it has more than 1,500 listings, choose **Pro** — you can always upgrade when you grow.

If you exceed **1,500 active items** while on **Plus**, we’ll email you and give you 7 days to upgrade to **Pro** (or trim your inventory). After 7 days, your **Inventory Manager** won’t be accessible until you upgrade.
{% endhint %}

### Bundle plans

**Bundle** plans combine **Automation** and **Crosslisting** at a reduced price. This is our most popular option because it keeps your entire business under one roof — and gives you access to everything Nifty has to offer.

| Plan            | Price (monthly) | Price (yearly) | Who it's for                              |
| --------------- | --------------- | -------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Bundle Plus** | $69.99/mo       | $62.99/mo      | Sellers with 1,500 or fewer active items  |
| **Bundle Pro**  | $89.99/mo       | $80.99/mo      | Sellers with more than 1,500 active items |

#### Why bundle?

The real value isn't just the savings — it's that **Automatic Relists** and **Auto-Delisting** actually work together when they're in the same system. See [Why One Tool Matters](/getting-started/why-one-tool-matters) to understand how this helps you avoid double sales and manual fixes.

### Not sure yet?

Every plan includes a [7-day free trial](/subscriptions/free-trial) with full access to the features in that plan. We recommend the **Bundle** plan during your trial since it gives you access to everything — you can always switch to a smaller plan later.

# Quickstart: Your First 30 Minutes

Ready to set yourself up for success? This guide walks you through the five essential steps to get Nifty running — most sellers finish in under 30 minutes.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If your plan only includes **Automation**, skip steps 2–4. If your plan only includes **Crosslisting**, skip step 5.
{% endhint %}

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Connect your marketplaces

Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and [connect your marketplaces](broken://spaces/Em5xU5ktwTTfKBpX6qpY/pages/rq7VcbsDYUiXl8OgsnjK). After connecting, click **View connected account** to double-check that you're connected to the right account.

<figure><img src="/files/opt3atJ4H5oFQCBVW7lk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Sync your inventory

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory) and click **Sync listings**. With just one click, Nifty brings in all of your active listings. Our AI recognizes when you have the same item listed on multiple platforms and groups them together automatically — no manual work required.

<figure><img src="/files/ZGrRmmOZBi2whw6YWhaw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Verify the matches

After your initial sync, we ask you to quickly review the AI's work and **Verify** the matches it made. We recommend sorting your inventory by **Item name** using the dropdown in the top-right — this groups similar titles together and makes the review process easier.

<figure><img src="/files/6BuQySRpoBC3sj27ci0r" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Scan each page to make sure everything is in the correct place. If you notice anything off, drag and drop your listings into the correct row.

<figure><img src="/files/b9ii8UbGn0mjJtx3kmZV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** If you know an item is listed on a platform but it's not showing up that way, try searching for a keyword from the title. This will display all relevant rows, making it easy to drag and drop the pictures together.
{% endhint %}

Once you're happy with how the page looks, select all rows using the checkbox at the top left and click **Verify** at the bottom. Then move on to the next page.

<figure><img src="/files/6LEkVVa0XuVYdnvqa5mR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** Items you create or crosslist from within Nifty are automatically verified — this one-time review is only for inventory you've already listed elsewhere.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Enable Auto-Delisting

Now that your inventory is verified, you're ready to set up [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting). Head over to Settings → [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/sale-detection) and toggle on the platforms you want Nifty to auto-delist on.

When an item sells on one marketplace, Nifty will automatically remove it from the others — no more double sales.

<figure><img src="/files/6kLMr79AxsnXeDDSrGVb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Turn on automations

Finally, go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and set up your automatic activities across marketplaces: [**Shares**](/automation/automatic-shares), [**Relists**](/automation/automatic-relists), [**Offers**](/automation/automatic-offers), and [**Follows**](/automation/automatic-follows).

Once set up, these activities run day after day like clockwork — keeping your accounts active and your listings visible, even while you sleep.

<figure><img src="/files/UeYUaorlxN4nloDWOiGM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Best practices

Keeping your [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) up to date is important for getting the most out of Nifty. Here are a few tips to ensure Nifty remains an accurate reflection of what you have for sale:

* **Check your email.** We send critical notifications about marketplace connection expirations, failed auto-delists, and payment issues. Missing these could interrupt your service or lead to missed sales.
* **Run a Full Sync once a month.** This brings in the most up-to-date data for all your active listings. Think of Nifty as a mirror of your marketplaces — over time, things that happen outside of Nifty can cause the mirror to become a little dirty, and a **Full Sync** wipes it clean.
* **Avoid relisting outside of Nifty.** When you relist using another tool or directly on a marketplace (e.g., "end and sell similar" on eBay), Nifty loses track of where your item lives — which can break [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting). See [Why One Tool Matters](/getting-started/why-one-tool-matters) to understand why.

### You're all set!

That's it — you've connected your marketplaces, synced your inventory, verified the matches, enabled **Auto-Delisting**, and turned on **Automations**. Nifty will now run smoothly in the background.

When you're ready, start expanding your reach with [**Crosslisting**](/crosslisting/crosslisting).

# Getting Back On Track

Things happen — connections expire, accounts get mixed up, or life gets busy. This page helps you get Nifty back in sync with what’s actually happening in your business.

You might be here because:

* You took a short break from Nifty and want to catch up.
* It’s been a long time and your [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) no longer matches reality.
* You accidentally connected the wrong marketplace account.

Use the section that best matches your situation.

### After a short break

If you’ve only been away from Nifty for a short time and your overall inventory hasn’t changed much, you can usually get back on track in 15 minutes:

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and reconnect any disconnected marketplaces.
2. Run a [**Full Sync**](/inventory-management/sync-and-refresh) to bring your **Inventory Manager** up to date.
3. Use the [**Partially delisted**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) filter and sort by [**Sale detected at**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#sorting) to find items where one listing sold but others are still live.
4. In [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics), click **Import** and choose a date range that covers the time you were away so recent sales are pulled into your reports.
5. Go to the [**Dashboard**](/automation/dashboard) and check your automations. Activities pause automatically while a marketplace is disconnected and resume on their own once you reconnect — just confirm everything you want running is enabled.

<figure><img src="/files/tdXVA48eahaPkY25Bkpp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** After a short break, focus on clearing **Partially delisted** items first. This reduces the risk of double sales while the rest of your data catches up.
{% endhint %}

### After a long break

If it’s been a long time since you used Nifty and your **Inventory Manager** is far from reality, it’s usually faster and safer to start fresh.

This reset only clears Nifty’s copy of your data — it does **not** change anything on your actual marketplaces.

1. Connect your marketplaces on Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Go to Settings → [**Danger Zone**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/danger-zone).
3. Clear the data for all marketplaces so Nifty can rebuild your inventory from scratch.
4. Run a **Full Sync** to import your current inventory from each marketplace.
5. [**Verify**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-verify) your items so [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting) can safely track sales going forward.
6. Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and restart your automations once everything looks correct.

<figure><img src="/files/l0MMjnCZW0PSzzgErJzS" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**When to choose a fresh start:** If you’ve sold or listed a lot while away — or you’ve manually edited listings on marketplaces — a full reset is usually faster than trying to fix every mismatch one by one.
{% endhint %}

### Connected to the wrong account

Sometimes a marketplace signs you into the wrong account in your browser (for example, if you manage more than one Poshmark or eBay account). Here’s how to fix it.

#### If you haven’t synced yet

If you connected the wrong account but haven’t run a sync, you can fix this before any incorrect data is pulled into Nifty.

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Click **View connected account** to confirm it's the wrong one.
3. Click **Disconnect**.
4. Sign out of that marketplace in your browser, then reconnect in Nifty with the correct credentials.
5. Follow the steps in [After a short break](#after-a-short-break).

<figure><img src="/files/YorvmdbhrIbikus2PdeX" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### If you already synced

If you’ve already synced, items from the wrong account are now in your **Inventory Manager**. You’ll need to clear them before reconnecting.

1. Go to Settings → [**Danger Zone**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/danger-zone).
2. Clear the data for that marketplace column only (leave other marketplaces as they are).
3. Go back to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and reconnect with the correct credentials.
4. Run a **Full Sync** to import items from the correct account.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** The **Danger Zone** only clears data from Nifty — your actual marketplace listings are not affected.
{% endhint %}

This is entirely optional — for the rest of your trial, you'll still have full access to other tools like [**Drafts**](/crosslisting/drafts-and-scheduling), [**Bulk Actions**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions), and [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting).

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** To move into your first paid month, try to create a new listing after you hit a trial limit. The action won't succeed, but you'll see the pop-up and can choose to start your subscription early.
{% endhint %}

### How the trial works

1. Create a free Nifty account.
2. When you're ready to [get started](/getting-started/quickstart), select your preferred plan.
3. Enter your payment details (required for setup, but you won't be charged during the trial).
4. Your 7-day trial begins.
5. If you want to try a different plan, you can [switch anytime](/subscriptions/switching-plans) during the trial with no charge.
6. If you decide Nifty isn't for you, you can [cancel anytime](/subscriptions/canceling-your-subscription) during the trial with no charge.
7. Otherwise, your paid subscription will automatically begin after the trial ends.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** We'll send you an email at the start of your trial with details about when it ends and when your paid subscription will begin.
{% endhint %}

### Why do you need my credit card?

We ask for a credit card upfront to ensure your service transitions seamlessly from the free trial to your first paid month, keeping your automations running smoothly without any interruption.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Our payment provider, Stripe, supports millions of businesses and may recognize your email address from a past purchase. If so, you'll be prompted to verify your phone number, but you can skip this step.
{% endhint %}

### Not sure which plan to try?

We recommend the **Bundle** plan during your trial since it gives you access to every feature we offer. You can always switch to a smaller plan later.

# Switching Plans

You can change your Nifty plan at any time. Here's how it works.

### How to switch plans

1. Go to Settings → [**Subscription**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/subscription).
2. Click **Update plan**.
3. Select your new plan.

<figure><img src="/files/HFfBxPeJlTWEp7S3ANAQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### When does the change take effect?

| Change | When it takes effect |
| --------------------------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| Upgrade (e.g., **Crosslisting** → **Bundle**) | Immediately                |
| Downgrade (e.g., **Bundle** → **Automation**) | At your next billing cycle |
| Switch during trial | Immediately, no charge |

### What happens to my data?

Your inventory, analytics, and settings stay intact when you switch plans. If you move to a plan that doesn't include certain features (like switching from **Bundle** to **Automation**), you'll lose access to those features but your data remains saved. Switch back anytime and it'll be right where you left it.

### Switching during your trial

You can switch plans as many times as you want during your 7-day trial at no charge. Your trial period doesn't reset when you switch.

# Billing and Payments

Everything you need to know about how Nifty billing works.

### Billing cycle

* Nifty bills monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you selected.
* Your billing date is the day your paid subscription started.
* **Smart Credits** are allocated monthly, even with a yearly plan.

### Accessing the customer portal

Most billing and subscription tasks happen in the **Customer portal**, including updating payment information, viewing invoices, and canceling your subscription.

1. Go to Settings → [**Subscription**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/subscription).
2. Click **Customer portal**.

<figure><img src="/files/hJRw3Y6IM9dXm3yWAMhC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** If nothing happens when you click **Customer portal**, try a different browser. Some versions of Safari may block the new window as a pop-up.
{% endhint %}

### Updating your payment method

In the [**Customer portal**](#accessing-the-customer-portal), click on your payment method to update your billing information.

### Failed payments

If your payment method fails, we'll notify you and provide a grace period to update your payment information. During this time, your automations and **Sale Detection** will be paused, but your account data remains secure.

Once payment is resolved, your automations resume automatically — no need to restart them manually. If you've been away for a while, [Getting Back On Track](/getting-started/getting-back-on-track) can help you catch up.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Warning:** If payment isn't resolved within the grace period, your subscription will be canceled.
{% endhint %}

### Yearly billing

Switch to yearly billing and save up to 12% compared to monthly pricing. You can change your billing cycle from the [**Customer portal**](#accessing-the-customer-portal).

### Invoices

To view or download past invoices, go to the [**Customer portal**](#accessing-the-customer-portal) and select your invoice history.

# Canceling Your Subscription

We're sad to see you go — but canceling is easy and your listings won't be affected.

### How to cancel

1. Go to Settings → [**Subscription**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/subscription).
2. Click **Customer portal**.
3. Click **Cancel subscription**.

<figure><img src="/files/hJRw3Y6IM9dXm3yWAMhC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Not seeing the Cancel button?** If you have a scheduled plan change (like **Bundle** → **Automation**), our payment provider hides the cancellation option. Email us at <hello@nifty.ai> and we'll take care of it.
{% endhint %}

### What happens when you cancel

* You keep full access until the end of your current billing period.
* Your listings on Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, and Whatnot stay exactly where they are — Nifty doesn't touch them.
* Your Nifty account data is retained in case you decide to come back.

### Refunds

We don't provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.

### Reactivating your subscription

To reactivate after cancellation, simply visit our [Pricing page](https://nifty.ai/pricing) and sign up again. Your previous data will still be there.

### Can I pause instead of canceling?

We don't currently offer a pause feature, but you can cancel your subscription and resubscribe when you're ready to return. There's no penalty for canceling and coming back later.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Planning an extended break?** If you're planning an extended break and anticipate returning to Nifty in the future, [contact us](mailto:hello@nifty.ai) so we can make appropriate arrangements for your account.
{% endhint %}

# Referrals and Discounts

Save on your first month with a promo code, or earn commissions by referring others to Nifty.

### Using a promo code

New users can get 15% off their first month by entering a promo code at signup. Try `WELCOME15` if you don't have one.

<figure><img src="/files/SHku0qgxFt7w94ISTQBX" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Promo codes can only be entered when you create your Nifty account or start your free trial. If you've already started your trial and missed the code entry window, [contact us](mailto:hello@nifty.ai) and we'll help you out.
{% endhint %}

### Affiliate program

Want to share Nifty with others and earn money doing it? Our affiliate program is open to everyone.

#### What you get

* A unique promo code that gives others **15% off** their first month.
* **20% lifetime commission** for every customer who signs up using your code.

#### How to join

Visit the [Affiliate Dashboard](https://nifty.promotekit.com/dashboard) to apply and get your unique code.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Application denied?** Common reasons include codes that are too generic or only contain numbers. Check your denial email for specifics, then reapply with a different code.
{% endhint %}

#### How payouts work

| Detail                | Info                                                                                                      |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Payout schedule** | Monthly, within the first 12 business days |
| **Minimum payout** | $20 (we hold funds until you reach this amount) |
| **Commission timing** | Net-30 — for example, commissions earned in January are processed end of February and paid in early March |

For full details, check the **Program Guide** at the top of your [Affiliate Dashboard](https://nifty.promotekit.com/dashboard).

#### Troubleshooting

Nifty uses PromoteKit to manage affiliate payments, relying on their system to process payments. If you are expecting a payment but haven't received it yet, please check:

* **Is your PayPal info correct?** Verify it in your [Affiliate Dashboard](https://nifty.promotekit.com/dashboard).
* **Is your balance at least $20?** We hold funds until you reach the minimum.
* **Are we past the 12th business day of the month?** Payouts go out within the first 12 business days of each month.
* **Are you accounting for net-30?** For example, commissions earned in January are processed end of February and paid in early March.

# Account Management

Here’s what you need to know about connection limits, sharing access, and staying informed.

### Marketplace connection limits

#### One account per marketplace

Nifty only allows one account per marketplace. We strongly advise against intentionally switching between different marketplace accounts within one Nifty account. Doing this can confuse your **Dashboard** and **Inventory Manager**, as they're not designed to handle mixed inventories.

If you switch accounts accidentally, you may need to follow the steps in [Getting Back On Track](/getting-started/getting-back-on-track#connected-to-the-wrong-account) to clear out incorrect data.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Have multiple accounts?** If you have multiple marketplace accounts (for example, more than one Poshmark closet) and would like to use Nifty with them, contact us at <hello@nifty.ai> to discuss options.
{% endhint %}

#### Same country requirement

All connected marketplace accounts must be from the **same country**.

You **can** connect:

* Poshmark Canada and eBay Canada
* Poshmark US and eBay US

You **cannot** connect:

* Poshmark Canada and eBay US (or any other mix of different countries)

This limitation exists because our automation and crosslisting features are designed to work within a single country’s marketplace ecosystem.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Good to know:** We’re exploring ways to remove this country limitation in the future to better support sellers who operate across multiple regions.
{% endhint %}

### Account sharing

Nifty does not officially support multiple users sharing a single account. Some customers do share login credentials with team members, but this is not a first-class feature and comes with tradeoffs.

If you choose to share your account, keep these in mind.

#### Privacy considerations

* Anyone with access to your Nifty account can view key billing details, such as your billing address and the last four digits of your payment methods.
* Nifty credentials remain encrypted and are not visible to anyone — including you and our team — and marketplace passwords are not stored.

#### Collaboration safeguards

When multiple people manage the same inventory, Nifty includes safeguards to protect your data:

* The system helps prevent errors like double listing an item.
* If one user initiates a sync, the **Inventory Manager** may be temporarily locked, preventing others from making changes during that time.
* If outdated data is detected, an error message will prompt you to refresh the page before continuing.

### Email communication

Please sign up with an email address that you actively check. We send critical notifications exclusively via email, including:

* Marketplace connection expirations
* Failed auto-delists
* Payment processing issues
* Important account and plan updates

Missing these notifications could mean you don’t realize something is wrong until you see automations stopped or double sales.

# Passwordless Chrome Extension

If you sell on Poshmark, Mercari, or Whatnot and have access to a computer, it's worth familiarizing yourself with Nifty's **Passwordless Chrome Extension**. It’s quick, easy, and guaranteed to work.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Requirements:** The extension only works with Google Chrome on a computer. It isn't available on mobile browsers or other desktop browsers.
{% endhint %}

### How to set it up

1. In Google Chrome on a computer, open our [Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nifty/ggcfdkgmekpddencdddinlmpekbcohoa).
2. Click **Add to Chrome**, then confirm when prompted.
3. From the same browser, log into your marketplace account (Poshmark, Mercari, or Whatnot).
4. Go back to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) — you'll see a **Connect** button instead of a password field.

<figure><img src="/files/pyXuAC5S2Ug34xLAQ7nj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

The extension uses your existing session with poshmark.com, mercari.com, or whatnot.com and shares it with Nifty so we can connect without you typing your marketplace password into Nifty.

### How it affects your service

It doesn't! The extension is only used for the initial connection — it doesn't change how Nifty works. Nifty still runs entirely in the cloud, and you don't need to keep the extension installed or your computer on after connecting.

### Troubleshooting

**Not seeing the Connect button?** Make sure you're using Google Chrome on a computer and that the extension is installed and enabled — other browsers aren't supported.

**Clicked Connect but got a login page?** This usually means you're not logged into the marketplace on your current browser. Log in and confirm the connection by visiting the marketplace directly (for example, poshmark.com), then try again.

**Connection won't establish or disconnects immediately?** Your session may be stale. Sign out of the marketplace, sign back in, then use the extension again.

**Stuck in a connection loop?** If the connection window opens and immediately closes, the Nifty extension likely doesn't have the necessary permissions to access site data.

1. **Open Extension Settings**: Click the Nifty Extension, and select Manage Extension. If you don't see it, try clicking the **Puzzle Piece icon** in your browser.\
   ![](/files/Q8XG0P7iJ3c7b51E5wXB)
2. **Adjust Site Access:** Scroll to the Site Access section.
3. **Enable Permissions:** Toggle the setting to "On" for all websites.\
   ![](/files/EZ3AElfqFM8EmRxT0wtN)
4. **Retry:** Restart your browser and try connecting again.

### Reconnecting

When you're automatically logged out of a marketplace (a normal security feature), connections made via the extension will expire too. To reconnect, make sure the extension is still installed, log back into the marketplace, and click **Connect** on Nifty.

# Connecting Depop

Connect your Depop account to start using Nifty's automation and crosslisting features.

### How to connect

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Find Depop and click **Connect**.
3. You'll be redirected to Depop — log in and grant Nifty permission.
4. If successful, you'll be redirected back to Nifty.

<figure><img src="/files/9WtA6yhTfR3hqE7zITLP" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Troubleshooting

If you find yourself stuck on a "Create a Listing" screen when you click "Connect Depop", it means your Depop onboarding is incomplete.

#### How to Fix It

1. Go to Depop Directly: Navigate to [Depop.com](https://www.depop.com), and log into your account.
2. Create a Test Listing: Click on the "List an Item" button.
3. Publish the Item: Fill out the basic requirements, upload a temporary photo, and publish it as a live listing on their platform. *(You can immediately delete or deactivate this item after the connection is established).*
4. Reconnect to Nifty: Once your manual test listing is live, return to your Nifty dashboard under [Settings > Connections](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and try linking your Depop account again.

### Reconnecting

Depop connections last 12 months. When your connection expires, you'll get an email from Nifty — just follow the same steps above to reconnect.

# Connecting eBay

Connect your eBay account to start using Nifty's automation and crosslisting features.

### How to connect

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Find eBay and click **Connect**.
3. You'll be redirected to eBay — log in and grant Nifty permission (you may need to scroll down).
4. If successful, you'll be redirected back to Nifty.

<figure><img src="/files/Rqz0PL5JuyF9FxxFLlyg" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Reconnecting

eBay connections last about 18 months. When your connection expires, you'll get an email from Nifty — just follow the same steps above to reconnect.

# Connecting Etsy

Connect your Etsy account to start using Nifty's crosslisting features.

### How to connect

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Find Etsy and click **Connect**.
3. You'll be redirected to Etsy — log in and grant Nifty permission (you may need to scroll down).
4. If successful, you'll be redirected back to Nifty.

<figure><img src="/files/gdhkvDKxIlVtIX66OAkg" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Troubleshooting

**No shop?** You'll need to create a shop on Etsy before you can connect to Nifty. We recommend reviewing [What's Allowed on Etsy](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-etsy#allowed-items) and ensuring your inventory aligns with their rules, as there's a non-refundable fee to open a shop.

### Reconnecting

Etsy connections last about 3 months. When your connection expires, you'll get an email from Nifty — just follow the same steps above to reconnect.

# Connecting Mercari

Connect your Mercari account to start using Nifty's automation and crosslisting features. You can connect using either our Chrome extension or your Mercari username and password.

### How to connect

#### Option 1: Chrome extension

Recommended if you have a computer. See [Passwordless Chrome Extension](/connections/passwordless-chrome-extension) for more details.

1. Using Google Chrome, open our [Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nifty/ggcfdkgmekpddencdddinlmpekbcohoa) and click **Add to Chrome**.
2. From the same computer, log into your Mercari account.
3. Go back to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) — you'll see a **Connect** button instead of a password field.

<figure><img src="/files/32fWiwsobozfE9pPG30g" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Option 2: Username + password

Best if you don't have access to a computer.

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Find Mercari.
3. Enter your username and password.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Important:** We do not store your Mercari password. When you connect via username and password, we use your credentials once to establish a session, then discard them.
{% endhint %}

### Troubleshooting

**Have a computer?** We recommend the Chrome extension — it's quick, easy, and generally the most reliable.

**No computer?** Try these steps from the Mercari app before re-entering your credentials:

1. Go to [Settings > Account Security](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/security/) — make sure SMS or Email is selected.
2. Go to [Settings > Phone Verification](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/sms_confirmation/) — verify this process is complete.
3. Sign out of Mercari and sign back in — ensure you receive a verification code.

**Still stuck?** [Reset your Mercari password](https://www.mercari.com/us/help_center/article/167/) and repeat step 3.

### Reconnecting

Mercari connections last about 1 month. When your connection expires, you'll get an email from Nifty — just follow the same steps above to reconnect.

# Connecting Poshmark

Connect your Poshmark account to start using Nifty's automation and crosslisting features. You can connect using either our Chrome extension or your Poshmark username and password.

2. From the same computer, log into your Poshmark account.
3. Go back to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) — you'll see a **Connect** button instead of a password field.

<figure><img src="/files/uiD5bQL4hP2A3GM6cFtg" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Option 2: Username + password

Best if you don't have access to a computer.

1. Go to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. Find Poshmark.
3. Enter your username and password.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Important:** We do not store your Poshmark password. When you connect via username and password, we use your credentials once to establish a session, then discard them.
{% endhint %}

### Troubleshooting

**Have a computer?** We recommend the Chrome extension — it's quick, easy, and generally the most reliable.

**No computer?** Try your closet name instead of your email. Poshmark accepts either as your username.

**Still stuck?** [Reset your Poshmark password](https://support.poshmark.com/s/article/844900083?language=en_US) and try again.

### Reconnecting

Poshmark connections last a few months. When your connection expires, you'll get an email from Nifty — just follow the same steps above to reconnect.

# Connecting Whatnot

Connect your Whatnot account to start using Nifty's crosslisting and inventory features. Whatnot is only available to connect via Chrome extension at this time.

### How to connect

#### Chrome extension

See [Passwordless Chrome Extension](/connections/passwordless-chrome-extension) for more details.

1. Using Google Chrome, open our [Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/nifty/ggcfdkgmekpddencdddinlmpekbcohoa) and click **Add to Chrome**.
2. From the same computer, log into your Whatnot account.
3. Go back to Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and click **Connect with Chrome extension**.

<figure><img src="/files/zkI8aK6xnBsgCQrsEIFf" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Username and password

Username and password connection for Whatnot is not available yet — we expect to support it in Q2 2026.

### Troubleshooting

#### Still stuck?

Sign out of Whatnot, sign back in, then try connecting again from Nifty.

Alternatively, you can try [adjusting the permissions for the extension](/connections/passwordless-chrome-extension#troubleshooting).

# Managing Connections

How to confirm and manage your marketplace connections with Nifty.

### Viewing your connection

Right after you connect, Nifty shows you a preview of your connected account, so you can confirm it's the right one.

You can also click **View connected account** next to that marketplace at any time. This is especially helpful if you have multiple accounts on the same marketplace.

<figure><img src="/files/opt3atJ4H5oFQCBVW7lk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Disconnecting

Click **Disconnect** on Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) to disconnect at any time. This immediately stops all automations for that marketplace.

<figure><img src="/files/YorvmdbhrIbikus2PdeX" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you also want to clear your listing data from your **Inventory Manager**, use the [**Danger Zone**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager#removing-a-marketplace).

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** The **Danger Zone** only clears data from Nifty — your actual marketplace listings are not affected.
{% endhint %}

### One account per marketplace

To ensure data integrity, each marketplace account can be connected to only one Nifty account at a time. If you connected an account (such as a Poshmark closet) to an older Nifty account in the past, you won't be able to connect the same account to a newer one.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Need to merge accounts?** Email <hello@nifty.ai> with both email addresses (if you remember) or the marketplace and username that's connected to the old account.
{% endhint %}

# Home

**Home** gives you the full picture — see what's working, what needs attention, and whether you're on track to hit your goals. It's the first thing you see when you open Nifty.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Home**](https://app.nifty.ai/) in the left sidebar (computer) or bottom navigation bar (mobile), or click the Nifty logo.

<figure><img src="/files/LvVFKR3EBqzv9KNKCzwS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What's included

| Section             | What it shows                                     |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Getting started** | Step-by-step guide to set up or get back on track |
| **Today's summary** | Your automation and analytics numbers at a glance |
| **Goals**           | Progress toward targets you've set                |
| **Needs attention** | High-priority actions worth handling now |
| **What's new** | Recent feature releases and improvements |

#### Getting started

The **Getting started** checklist walks you through the steps to get Nifty fully set up. Whether you're new or returning after a break, it surfaces what's most relevant to your situation.

{% hint style="info" %}
For detailed instructions, see [Quickstart](/getting-started/quickstart) or [Getting Back on Track](/getting-started/getting-back-on-track).
{% endhint %}

#### Today's summary

A quick snapshot of your day:

* **Automation metrics** — Shares, Relists, Offers, and Follows completed today. This is the same data you'd see on the [**Dashboard**](/automation/dashboard), summed up across marketplaces.
* **Analytics metrics** — Units Listed, Units Sold, Revenue, and Profit. This matches what you'd see at the top of [**Insights**](/analytics/insights-and-reports) if you filtered to today.

What you see depends on your plan. **Automation** plans show automation metrics. **Crosslisting** and **Bundle** plans show both.

#### Goals

Set targets and track your progress over time. When you know what you're aiming for, it's easier to stay focused. Available goal types:

* **Profit** — Track profit against a dollar target
* **Sales** — Track number of sales
* **Listings** — Track how many items you've listed
* **Sell-through rate** — Track the percentage of inventory sold

Each goal can be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly — and resets at the start of each period.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Goals** are available on **Crosslisting** and **Bundle** plans.
{% endhint %}

#### Needs attention

A list of things that need action now. Nifty always sends an email for time-sensitive issues, and this section serves as a backup to track everything. Issues automatically dismiss depending on the type:

| Issue                                      | Expiration                                             | Email sent | Dismissable |
| ------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------ | ---------- | ----------- |
| Marketplace connection expired | When reconnected, or 30 days after disconnection | Yes | Yes |
| Unexpected error with Dashboard activity | When turned back on, or 30 days after being turned off | Yes | Yes |
| Incomplete auto-delisting for recent sales | After 7 days                                           | Yes        | Yes         |
| Unverified items in inventory | When count reaches zero | No | No |
| Potential duplicates | When count reaches zero | No | No |
| Listings with publishing errors | When count reaches zero | No | No |
| No full sync in over 30 days | After sync is completed | No | No |
| Automatic offers skipped due to a filter   | After 7 days                                           | No         | Yes         |

Each item links directly to where you can fix it — so you spend less time hunting and more time selling.

Dismissable issues can be hidden with the **Dismiss** button — they move to the **Dismissed** tab and stay there for 7 days before reappearing if still unresolved.

#### What's new

A quick look at recent releases, organized by month. For the full changelog, see [What's New](/whats-new).

# Inventory Manager

The **Inventory Manager** is your central hub for tracking every item you sell across all connected marketplaces. It's the foundation that makes [**Crosslisting**](/crosslisting/crosslisting), [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting), and [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics) work together seamlessly.

### Where to find it

Click [**Inventory**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory) in the left sidebar (computer) or bottom navigation bar (mobile).

<figure><img src="/files/JKKucshsOdDquBK539YG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

The **Inventory Manager** is a grid. Each row represents one item in your inventory, and each column represents a marketplace. This lets you see at a glance where each item is listed — or not yet posted.

When you first [**Sync**](/inventory-management/sync-and-refresh) your inventory, Nifty pulls in all your active listings and uses AI to match items that appear on multiple platforms. A pair of jeans listed on both Poshmark and eBay will show up as one row, with images in both columns.

This structure is what makes **Auto-Delisting** possible. When that pair of jeans sells on Poshmark, Nifty knows to remove the eBay listing because they're linked on the same row.

### Key concepts

**Items vs. Listings:** An *item* is a single product you're selling. A *listing* is that item's presence on a specific marketplace. One item can have multiple listings (one per marketplace).

**Duplicate vs. Match:** A *duplicate* is when a listing is posted more than once on the same marketplace, typically in error. A *match* is when a listing is posted across multiple marketplaces.

**Verified vs. Unverified:** When Nifty's AI matches listings across platforms, the resulting item is *unverified*. Once you confirm the matches are correct, it becomes *verified*. Only verified items are eligible for **Auto-Delisting**.

**Row = Item:** Everything on the same row is treated as the same physical item. If listings are incorrectly grouped, **Auto-Delisting** may delist the wrong things.

### Navigating the grid

1. **Marketplace columns** show a photo if the item has ever been listed there, or an empty square if not.
2. **Marketplace counts** (gray numbers next to the column names) show how many of the currently visible items have ever been listed there — whether active, delisted, or sold.
3. **Checkbox** on the left selects items for [**Bulk Actions**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions).
4. **Item menu** (three dots next to the title) gives you options for that specific item: edit, delist, and copy.
5. **Item metadata** (information icon next to the title) gives you key dates, such as the day the item was created, modified, and/or sold.
6. **Listing menu** (green arrow above the photo) gives you options for that specific listing: view, delist, relist (for delisted listings), and move to new item.

<figure><img src="/files/71BqxAfMclvq0dt6Pz0L" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Organizing listings

If Nifty's AI misses a match, you can manually rearrange listings using drag and drop. Drag a listing photo from one row to another to group them together.

To move a listing to its own row (separating it from other listings), click the **Listing menu** and select **Move to new item**.

<figure><img src="/files/b9ii8UbGn0mjJtx3kmZV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** If you know an item is listed on a platform but it's not showing up that way, search for a keyword from the title. This displays all relevant rows, making it easy to drag and drop the pictures together.
{% endhint %}

### Iconography

Throughout the **Inventory Manager**, you may notice icons next to your item names:

| Icon | What it means | Why we show it |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Yellow refresh icon | One or more listings was relisted in the past 7 days on Nifty | Especially when looking at sold listings, knowing they were recently relisted helps contextualize the sale |
| Gray clock icon | One or more listings hasn't been relisted in over 60 days | We recommend relisting these items to improve visibility. You can do so using **Bulk Actions** |

### Removing a marketplace

If you're no longer selling on a marketplace, first [disconnect the account](/connections/managing-connections), then open Settings → [**Danger Zone**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/danger-zone).

<figure><img src="/files/l0MMjnCZW0PSzzgErJzS" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Choose the marketplaces you want to clear. Nifty removes their listings from your inventory, along with any [**drafts**](/crosslisting/drafts-and-scheduling) you never posted — if you turn on that option.

None of this affects your actual marketplace listings — the **Danger Zone** only clears what's stored in Nifty.

### Limitations

| Limitation                         | Details                                                                                                                                               |
| ---------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| View more than 25 items per page | The grid displays 25 items at a time. Use **Search**, **Sort**, and **Filter** to find specific items |
| Select items across multiple pages | Bulk selections only apply to the current page |
| Lock or reorder columns | Marketplace columns are ordered by number of listings (most → least) |
| Full Automation plan access | On **Full Automation**, the **Inventory Manager** is limited: you can't create, edit, or manually relist items, and **Sale Detection** isn't included |

# Sync and Refresh

Syncing keeps your [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) up to date with what's actually listed on your marketplaces.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Inventory**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory) (in the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager)) and click **Resync** in the top-left corner.

<figure><img src="/files/YCmSFRBKmMvveH5TtWFd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How syncing works

Think of Nifty as a mirror of your marketplaces. When you list, edit, or remove items directly on a marketplace (outside of Nifty), the mirror gets a little dirty — your **Inventory Manager** no longer reflects reality. Syncing wipes the mirror clean.

Nifty offers three ways to sync, depending on how much cleaning you need: **Full Sync**, **Quick Sync**, and **Refresh**.

### Full Sync

A **Full Sync** pulls in *all* active listings from every connected marketplace and refreshes everything — titles, prices, photos, and status.

**When to use it:**

* After connecting a new marketplace
* Once a month as routine maintenance
* After making bulk changes directly on a marketplace (relists, price drops, etc.)
* When listings seem out of sync with what you see on the marketplace

To run a **Full Sync**, all marketplaces with listings in your **Inventory Manager** must be connected and not in vacation mode.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** A **Full Sync** does not rearrange items that are already in your **Inventory Manager**. It does, however, try to match new listings to existing items, adding them to the same row when possible. This is why it's the right choice after connecting a new marketplace.
{% endhint %}

### Quick Sync

A **Quick Sync** is a faster, lighter option. It checks for new listings you've created outside of Nifty — but it won't update data on listings Nifty already knows about.

**When to use it:**

* After listing a few new items outside of Nifty
* When your **Inventory Manager** is mostly up to date and you just need to pull in recent additions

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** **Quick Sync** does not update existing listing data. Prices, statuses, and other details in Nifty will stay the same. If you need everything refreshed, use a **Full Sync**.
{% endhint %}

### Refresh (for specific items)

If just one or two items look outdated, you don't need to sync your whole inventory. Use the **Refresh** feature to pull fresh data for specific rows.

**How to use it:**

1. Select the row(s) you want to update.
2. Click **Refresh** at the bottom of the screen.

<figure><img src="/files/IfIb1ZWTyyzxDOzX3S9S" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Limitations

| Limitation                    | Details                                                                                                                                                                                             |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Import sold listings | The **Inventory Manager** focuses on active listings. For sales history, check out [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics). |
| Import auction-style listings | On eBay, auction-style listings cannot always be modified or ended without penalty, so Nifty does not interact with these types of listings. |
| Multi-variant items | Multi-variant listings can be imported into Nifty, but you can't create or edit them here, and they're not eligible for **Sale Detection** or [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting). |
| Push changes to marketplaces | Syncing only pulls data into Nifty. It doesn't update or modify your listings on any marketplace. |
| Trigger Auto-Delisting | Syncing does not trigger **Auto-Delisting**. Auto-Delisting runs on its own schedule, not when you sync. |

### A note on timing

Changes you make directly on a marketplace need to be processed by that marketplace's systems before Nifty can see them. This is usually instant, but occasionally there's a short delay.

We recommend listing directly on Nifty whenever possible, as there's no delay between creating the listing and seeing it in Nifty.

# Organizing Your Inventory

As your inventory grows, organization becomes essential. Nifty provides **Labels**, **Favorites**, and **Private Notes** to help you categorize and find items quickly.

### Where to find it

To manage **Labels**, go to Settings → [**Labels**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/labels).

<figure><img src="/files/pucxaov1TRWF0LskxIbl" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Favorites** are managed directly within the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager).

**Private Notes** can be added from the **Inventory Manager**, or when [creating or editing an item](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items).

<figure><img src="/files/dkZpondmqJZGiAEPKyP2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Labels

**Labels** are custom tags you create to categorize items however makes sense for your business. Each label can have a custom name, description, and color.

**How to create labels:**

1. Go to **Inventory Settings**.
2. Find the **Inventory labels** section.
3. Create a new label or edit an existing one.

**How to apply labels:**

1. When creating or editing an individual listing, you can add labels using the **Inventory labels** section.
2. When viewing items in your **Inventory Manager**, you can select multiple rows and [**Bulk Apply Labels**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Bulk apply labels will override all existing labels for the item(s).
{% endhint %}

**Example uses:**

* "Photo needed" — items that need better photos
* "Price drop" — items to discount soon
* "Holiday" — seasonal inventory
* "Source: Estate sale" — track where items came from

### Favorites

Mark items as **Favorites** to create a quick-access list of inventory.

**How to favorite an item:**

1. Find the item in your **Inventory Manager**.
2. Click the star icon to toggle favorite status.

**When to use favorites:**

* Items you frequently pick up and want to copy quickly
* Items you want to track closely

### Private Notes

**Private Notes** are short memos that you can easily attach to an item.

**How to add a private note from the Inventory Manager:**

1. Find the item in your **Inventory Manager**.
2. Click **Add private notes**.

**How to add a private note from the Listing Form:**

1. Find the **Private note** section.
2. Enter your private note.
3. Click **Update item**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** SKUs should be put in the dedicated SKU field, rather than **Private Notes**, as the dedicated field is carried over to the [**Sale Detection Tracker**](/auto-delisting/sale-detection-tracker) and [**Analytics**](/analytics/analytics) when an item sells.
{% endhint %}

### Filtering by organization

Use the **Filter bar** in the **Inventory Manager** to show:

* Only favorites
* Only items with a specific label

And use the **Search bar** in the **Inventory Manager** to search across your private notes.

This helps you work through your inventory systematically.

<figure><img src="/files/69pFIOeJVDDMtx47daz0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Limitations

| Limitation               | Details                                    |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| Create label hierarchies | Labels are flat (no sub-labels or folders) |

# Finding and Fixing Duplicates

When Nifty detects that a listing is posted more than once on the same marketplace, we mark it as a **Duplicate** for you to review. Here's how to find and fix them.

### Where to find duplicates

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and click the **Duplicates** filter in the **Filter bar**.

<figure><img src="/files/yeM4RoUPD1fgadOGfS6T" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

[**Duplicates**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory?filter=duplicates) shows items Nifty suspects might be duplicates based on similar titles or images.

### Why duplicates happen

**External relists:** When you relist using another tool or directly on a marketplace (like eBay's "end and sell similar"), Nifty pulls in the new listing but doesn't know it's the same item as the old one. You end up with two rows — one where the listing is **Listed** and another where it's **Delisted**.

**Human error:** An item is listed twice by a human.

**Software error:** An item is listed twice by software. This is a [known issue on Mercari](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-mercari#duplicate-listings) — when listing via their API, sometimes two listings are created instead of one.

### How to fix duplicates

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Before fixing duplicates, run a **Full Sync** so you're working with the latest data. See [Sync and Refresh](/inventory-management/sync-and-refresh) for details.
{% endhint %}

For each group that Nifty surfaces for your review, you have three main tools:

1. **Drag and drop** — drag and drop the photos to rearrange the listings as needed.
2. **Delist** — use the **Delist listings** button or **Item menu** to delist all of the listings on a given row. This removes them for sale from the marketplace.
3. **Dismiss** — once you've addressed the issue (or if there's nothing to address), click **Not a duplicate** to dismiss the warning. This button removes the group from your view.

<figure><img src="/files/5nBCIrBDnAOXR4Vemx56" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Why this matters

Duplicates directly impact [**Auto-Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting). If the same item exists on two separate rows, selling it on one marketplace won't trigger delisting on the others — because Nifty doesn't know they're connected.

# Search, Sort, and Filter

With hundreds or thousands of items, finding what you need quickly is essential. The [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) provides search, sort, and filter tools to narrow down your view.

### Where to find it

Search, sort, and filter controls appear at the top of the **Inventory Manager**. The filters are shown in a gray **Filter bar** above your inventory. On mobile, this bar has a filter icon at the far right — you'll need to tap that to see all filters.

<figure><img src="/files/re0MIRuS3NntoJeEg8bi" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Search

Type keywords into the search bar to find items by item name, SKU, private notes, or public link. By default, Nifty searches across all of these, but you can use the dropdown on the left to perform a more targeted search.

<figure><img src="/files/xui5FODVKTSjyYXov6uj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Filters

#### Status filters

| Filter     | What it shows                                                 |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Listed | Items with at least one active listing |
| Sold | Items with at least one sold listing and zero active listings |
| Drafts | Items that are fully drafted |
| Delisted | Items removed from all marketplaces |
| Favorites | Items marked as favorites |
| Duplicates | Items detected as possible duplicates |
| Unverified | Items pending verification after AI matching |
| All | All items, regardless of status |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Items where some listings are sold and others are active will remain **Listed** until all listings are inactive. Multi-quantity items won't appear in **Sold** until they're sold out.
{% endhint %}

For help resolving duplicates, see [Finding and fixing duplicates](/inventory-management/finding-and-fixing-duplicates).

#### Label filters

Filter your inventory by labels using include and exclude mode:

* **Include** (✓): Show only items that have any of the selected labels.
* **Exclude** (✗): Hide items that have any of the selected labels.

You can use both at the same time — for example, include **Summer** while excluding **Consigned** to see summer items that aren't consigned.

Use **Include all**, **Exclude all**, or **Reset** at the bottom of the dropdown to quickly update all labels at once.

<figure><img src="/files/KfIve8Swu5vUcd6b4HPH" alt="" width="236"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Marketplace filters

Filter your inventory by marketplace using include and exclude mode:

* **Include** (✓): Show only items listed on the selected marketplace.
* **Exclude** (✗): Hide items listed on the selected marketplace — useful for finding crosslisting opportunities.

For example, exclude **eBay** to find items you haven't crosslisted to eBay yet.

<figure><img src="/files/5WdRSFqS5tcESGqQkpUC" alt="" width="240"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Issues filter

Filter to items Nifty has flagged for attention — partially delisted listings, price inconsistencies, mismatched quantities, publishing errors, and more. Each flag comes from a [**Warning**](/inventory-management/warnings); see that page for what each one means and how to fix it.

<figure><img src="/files/dQF71VNVGm2Zi8D8k0mY" alt="" width="350"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Sorting

Use the sort dropdown to order your inventory by:

| Sort by | What it does |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Imported/created at | See recently imported or created listings |
| Item name | Order listings by item name |
| Modified at | See recently modified listings |
| Number of listings  | Find most-crosslisted or least-crosslisted items |
| Price | Find highest or lowest priced items |
| Sale detected at | See recently sold listings |
| SKU | Order listings by SKU (alphanumeric) |

<figure><img src="/files/YtPP2HA25tCHMRtNj3fO" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Limitations

| Limitation            | Details                                                            |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Filter by date range | No option to show "items imported/created between two dates" |
| Filter by days listed | No built-in "stale inventory" filter |
| Search descriptions | Search only looks at titles, SKUs, private notes, and public links |

# Warnings

**Warnings** are the checks Nifty runs across your inventory to surface problems that are easy to miss.

### Where to find it

Choose which warnings run from Settings → [**Warnings**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/warnings). Flagged items appear under the [**Issues filter**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) in the Inventory Manager.

### How warnings work

Each warning is evaluated automatically against every item in your inventory. When you turn one on or off, Nifty re-evaluates your whole inventory — it may take a few minutes for flags to appear or clear.

Some warnings are *always on* because the problems they catch almost always need attention. Others are *configurable*, so you can turn them on to fit how you work.

### Always-on warnings

These run for everyone and can't be turned off:

| Warning | What it flags | Why it happens | How to fix it |

Other reasons include human error, the marketplace removing your listing, or external relists | <p>If you want this item delisted, select the row and <a href="/pages/8RrNl1qQsNJlMH8CveUp#bulk-delist"><strong>Delist</strong></a> it.<br><br>If you want it listed, use the <strong>Listing menu</strong> to move delisted listing(s) to a new row, then re-crosslist.</p> |
| **Mismatched quantities** | The same item has different available quantities on different marketplaces | Either human error, or the item was sold but [**Auto-Adjusting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting#auto-adjust-quantity) was not enabled or could not complete                                                                   | Use the **Item menu** to edit the item. {% hint style="info" %}
While the **Missing SKU** warning is on, the SKU field is required when creating or editing an item — so new items don't get flagged the moment you save them.

# Troubleshooting

Use this page to troubleshoot common issues with the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager).

### My inventory is incomplete or outdated

**Symptoms:** Prices, titles, or photos in Nifty don't match what's on the marketplace.

**Cause:** Changes made directly on marketplaces don't automatically sync to Nifty in real time.

**Fix:**

1. For a single item: Select the item and click [**Refresh**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-refresh) at the bottom.
2. For multiple items: Run a [**Full Sync**](/inventory-management/sync-and-refresh) for a comprehensive update.

**Prevention:** Make listing changes within Nifty whenever possible. Edits made in Nifty update both your inventory and the marketplace simultaneously.

### An item is missing from my inventory

**Symptoms:** You know an item is listed, but you can't find it in the **Inventory Manager**.

**Fix:** Check these causes in order:

| Cause                               | How to check                                                                      | Fix                                                                                                                   |
| ----------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Filter hiding it | Look for active filters at the top of the page | Select **All** in the **Filter bar** and clear other filters |
| Not yet synced | Item was listed outside Nifty recently | Run a **Quick Sync** or **Full Sync** |

\[Image: Inventory Manager with multiple filters active in the Filter bar]

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** For the most accurate search, copy and paste the link to the listing into the Nifty search bar.
{% endhint %}

### My marketplace counts are off

**Symptoms:** The gray numbers next to marketplace names don't match what you expect

**Step 1: Run a Full Sync**

This ensures all active listings are imported and up to date. Nifty may be missing recently added listings or still showing items that have been delisted.

**Step 2: Check for partially delisted items**

Use the **Partially delisted** filter to find items where one listing is unavailable but others are still active. Since the item is considered **Listed** overall, these can skew your counts.

**Step 3: Clean up delisted listings**

For partially delisted items, use the **Listing menu** to move the delisted listing to its own row. This removes it from the **Listed** count.

\[Image: Inventory Manager with Partially delisted filter selected and one affected row highlighted]

### My listing shows the wrong status

**Symptoms:** Item says "Listed" but it's actually sold.

**Causes:**

* Sale wasn't detected (connection may have expired).
* **Full Sync** hasn't run since the status changed.
* The listing has an active duplicate.

**Fix:**

1. Select the item and click **Refresh** at the bottom.
2. If the listing remains **Listed**, search for a keyword to find any possible duplicates.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Sold listings will never go back to **Listed**, even if the sale was cancelled. See [Relisting cancelled sales](/auto-delisting/troubleshooting#a-sale-was-cancelled-after-auto-delisting).
{% endhint %}

### I accidentally synced before connecting all marketplaces

**Symptoms:** You ran a **Full Sync** before connecting a marketplace, and now you have to wait 24 hours.

**Fix:** Running a **Full Sync** after connecting a new marketplace is very important, as this is the only type of sync that matches new listings with already imported listings. For assistance, please reach out at <hello@nifty.ai>.

### My items are out of order when sorting by creation date

**Symptoms:** You sorted by **Imported/created at**, but items still appear out of order.

**Explanation:** Since listings can be relisted many times in their life, Nifty has no way of knowing their true creation date. We use the date that the item was brought into Nifty. Going forward, we'll maintain this date (despite any relists), and new inventory will have the correct future dates.

### I stopped selling on a marketplace and cannot Full Sync

**Symptoms:** You have listings in your **Inventory Manager**, but you no longer sell on that marketplace.

**Fix:** Use the [**Danger Zone**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager#removing-a-marketplace) in **Inventory Settings** to clear that column and unblock your **Full Sync**.

\[Image: Inventory Settings with the Danger Zone section highlighted]

# Crosslisting

**Crosslisting** in Nifty lets you post the same item to multiple marketplaces without re-entering all your details.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and click:

1. **Add item** — Create brand-new items.
2. **Bulk Generate** — Turn photos into complete, multi-marketplace drafts.
3. **List on Marketplace** — Add a new marketplace listing to an existing item.

<figure><img src="/files/GGDO3NJuuQYlIOcBoxFg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

**Crosslisting** isn’t one-size-fits-all — different sellers have different workflows. Nifty supports three main ways to get your items listed everywhere.

#### Create once, list everywhere

If you like to build listings from scratch inside Nifty:

* Use the **Listing form** to enter your item details once.
* Pick the marketplaces you want to list on.
* Nifty creates and links those listings on one row in the **Inventory Manager**.

See [Creating and Editing Items](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items) for a full breakdown of the form.

#### Crosslist an existing item

If you prefer to start on a marketplace and expand from there:

* Find the item’s row in the **Inventory Manager**.
* Click **List on Marketplace** in an empty cell.
* Nifty reuses your existing photos, title, description, and price, and AI fills marketplace-specific fields.

See [List on Marketplace](/crosslisting/list-on-marketplace) for step-by-step guidance.

#### Crosslist many items at once

If you have a backlog to move across:

* Select your listed items and click **Crosslist** in the **Bulk action bar**.
* Pick your marketplaces, pricing, and shipping once — Nifty applies them to every item.
* AI writes each listing, and you choose whether to review drafts or publish immediately.

See [Bulk Crosslisting](/crosslisting/bulk-crosslisting) for the full walkthrough.

#### Use AI to generate listings

If you like to offload the heavy lifting:

* Click **Bulk Generate** and upload your photos.
* AI turns your photos into drafts with titles, descriptions, and item specifics.
* You review, adjust, and publish.

See [AI Listing Generator](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator) for best practices.

# Creating and Editing Items

Use the **Listing form** to create and edit items in Nifty, then post them to multiple marketplaces from one place.

### Where to find it

To add a new item, go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and click **Add item** (top right).

To edit an existing item, open the **Item menu** and click **Edit item**.

<figure><img src="/files/W0QKCzv2ajPBrboDmwGA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Before you start listing with Nifty, you must create at least one listing directly on the marketplace. This ensures your seller account is set up correctly.
{% endhint %}

### How it works

The **Listing form** is designed so you enter the shared information about your item first, and Nifty uses AI to handle most of the marketplace-specific details.

1. You choose the **Marketplaces** where you want to list the item.
2. You add **Photos and video** that will be reused across those marketplaces.
3. You fill in the **Item overview** (title, description, price, condition, etc.).
4. You complete the **Item details** (category, brand, size, colors, style tags).
5. Nifty’s AI uses your overview and details to prefill the **Marketplace details** section for each selected marketplace.
6. You review and adjust **Marketplace details**, then publish when you’re ready.

To speed up listing even further, you can use **Similar listings**, **Create from…**, and **Shipping presets**. See [Listing Shortcuts](/crosslisting/listing-shortcuts) for details.

### Suggested price

Using your title, description, category, brand, and condition, Nifty checks for **recent comparable sales** on your connected marketplaces. If there's enough sales data, it suggests a range of prices and displays photos of the sold listings.

### Saving and publishing

There are two options at the bottom of the page:

* **Save draft** (requires one photo): Saves your work as a draft that you can return to later.
* **List item** (requires complete form): Publishes to each selected marketplace and links them to the same item row in your **Inventory Manager**.

When you click **List item**, you're taken back to the **Inventory Manager** right away — no need to wait. Your work is always saved, even if something goes wrong.

#### If something goes wrong

A **Publishing error** means Nifty tried to create or update a listing, but the marketplace rejected the request. Here's what you need to know:

* **One failure won't block the others.** Each marketplace is submitted separately — if some succeed and others fail, the successful ones still go live, and only the failed ones need your attention.
* **Existing listings are untouched.** If you were editing a listing that's already live, it stays exactly as it was — the update simply didn't go through.
* **Your work is saved.** Click the error icon on the listing to review the error from the marketplace alongside the details you submitted. You can either fix the issue and retry, or discard the change.

To find all listings with errors, use the **Publishing error** filter in **Issues**.

Our marketplace-specific guides outline the most common errors per marketplace:

* [Selling on Depop](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-depop)
* [Selling on eBay](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-ebay)
* [Selling on Etsy](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-etsy)
* [Selling on Mercari](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-mercari)
* [Selling on Poshmark](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-poshmark)

### Editing items

When you edit an item in Nifty and click **Update**, Nifty updates all connected marketplaces at once. This is the recommended way to make changes because it keeps everything in sync automatically.

If you edit directly on a marketplace (like on eBay's website), Nifty won't know about those changes until you **Sync** or **Refresh**. Even then, you'd need to edit in Nifty to push the change to your other platforms. Editing once within Nifty is more streamlined.

### eBay-specific fields

#### Condition description

For eBay listings, you can add extra details about the item's condition. Click **Add condition description** below the Condition field.

<figure><img src="/files/PKYw5DXCMnMo3g6dbOYB" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Item specifics

eBay organizes item specifics into three categories: required, recommended, and additional. To streamline the listing process, Nifty shows the required and recommended fields by default.

To show additional item specifics, click **Show all fields** at the top right of the Item Specifics section.

<figure><img src="/files/eUD1BhGk5ksRgeZHHBF4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Depop-specific fields

#### Title, description, and hashtags

Depop only has a Description field — there's no separate Title or Tags like other marketplaces. When creating a listing through Nifty, we construct the Description using all three fields in the **Listing form**:

```
Title
Description
#Hashtag1 #Hashtag2 etc.
```

We do it this way because the first few words on Depop are most important for search (SEO) — the same consideration you'd make when writing your title.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Depop only allows 5 hashtags per listing. If you include a hashtag directly in your title/description **and** 5 hashtags in the Listing Form, the listing will be rejected.

# Listing Shortcuts

Nifty offers several time-saving features to help you create listings faster and maintain consistency across your inventory.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and open an item in the **Listing form** (see [Creating and Editing Items](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items)). You’ll see these shortcuts throughout the form.

### Similar listings

When creating a new item, Nifty automatically suggests similar items from your inventory. Click any suggestion to populate item specifics and shipping details.

This helps you avoid manually creating templates — Nifty finds relevant matches based on what you're listing.

<figure><img src="/files/3ajCJeUO5Eec1g4oQPd4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Copy item…

Another option is to duplicate the details of an existing item by opening the **Item menu** and clicking **Copy item…**. This makes it quick to create a new item with the same information.

<figure><img src="/files/UPupCelMuseTEDuGyYT4" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If there's an item you repeatedly duplicate, you can [**Favorite**](/inventory-management/organizing-your-inventory#favorites) it using the star button. This gives you quick access to the item whenever you need it.

### Relist listing

To bring a delisted listing back to a marketplace, click the **Listing menu** (green arrow above the photo) and select **Relist listing**. This is the fastest way to reactivate something you previously delisted.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Relist vs. Copy item:**

* **Relist listing** puts a delisted listing back on that marketplace. Same item row, same listing.
* **Copy item** creates a brand new item. Use this when the original sold (e.g., buyer cancelled) or when you have more of the same product.
  {% endhint %}

### Shipping presets

Save time on repetitive shipping configurations by creating reusable presets in Settings → [**Shipping Presets**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/shipping-presets).

When creating or editing an item, select a **Shipping preset** to apply those shipping settings across your selected marketplaces.

<figure><img src="/files/Go1HU5M3XAtVjfxhVI03" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** **Shipping presets** are on-the-fly transformations. They override the existing shipping details with the ones from the preset, but the preset itself is not saved alongside the item — just the results.
{% endhint %}

### Limitations

# Pricing Rules

**Pricing Rules** let you set an item's price on one marketplace and have Nifty calculate its price on every other marketplace automatically. Because each marketplace charges different fees, the right price isn't the same everywhere — your rules work it out so your take-home stays consistent.

### Where to find it

Set your primary marketplace from Settings → [**Marketplaces**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) using **Set as primary**, then configure your rules in Settings → [**Pricing Rules**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/pricing-rules).

### How it works

You choose a *primary marketplace* — the one you set prices on directly. Every other marketplace's price is calculated from the primary using the rule you set for it. If you don't set a rule, Nifty uses a fee-based default that adjusts for that marketplace's selling fees.

Your rules apply wherever you set a price:

* **Add/edit item** — set the primary marketplace price; Nifty fills in every other marketplace.
* **Crosslist** — a new listing's price is calculated from the primary through your rules.
* **Bulk update price** — selected items are repriced according to your rules.

### Setting up your rules

For each marketplace other than your primary, choose how its price compares:

* **Match** the primary's price, or **increase** / **decrease** it by a percentage or dollar amount.
* Optionally set a price ending (for example, always end in `.99`).

Each rule is an adjustment from your primary price, sized to cover the expected difference in what you take home on that marketplace. For most sellers that difference is just the marketplace's fees, which the fee-based defaults already cover — so you won't need to change anything. Your own setup can shift it, though: boosting your listings or offering free shipping on one marketplace changes the right adjustment. Use a percentage for proportional differences like fees, and a dollar amount for fixed ones like shipping.

The price ending is just personal preference.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Changing your primary marketplace resets your rules to the fee-based defaults, so you may want to revisit them afterward.
{% endhint %}

### Automatic warnings

The **Price inconsistency** warning flags listings whose price has drifted from your rule. It never changes a price on its own.

For each item, Nifty applies your rules to the primary's price to get the *expected* price for each marketplace, then compares it to the *actual* price. If a marketplace differs by more than \~10%, the item is flagged with a suggested price (for example, `Mercari $40.00 → $44.99`).

Flagged items appear under the [**Issues filter**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) in the Inventory Manager. To correct them, select the row and use [**Update price**](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-update-price). You can turn the warning on or off in Settings → [**Warnings**](/inventory-management/warnings).

### Best practices

Each marketplace charges different selling fees, so the same listed price returns a different amount to the seller. Sellers keep roughly 80% of a sale on a high-fee marketplace like Poshmark, and roughly 96% on a low-fee marketplace like Depop. To take home the same amount, the listed price has to differ — to net $40, you'd list around $50 on Poshmark and around $41 on Depop. The fee-based defaults calculate this for you.

This is what drives sell-through. Sell-through rate is the share of listings that sell in a given period, and price is a primary factor: a listing priced above comparable sold items is less likely to sell. Because low-fee marketplaces return more of each sale, you can list lower there and still take home the same amount, so a more competitive price costs you nothing. Price matters most at the point of listing, since a listing gets its highest visibility when first posted; lowering the price later is less effective.

For this reason, avoid setting every marketplace to **match**. Matching applies your primary's price unchanged, which on a low-fee marketplace leaves the item priced above competing sellers without increasing your take-home. Start from the fee-based defaults, and override a marketplace only when you have a specific reason to.

# Drafts and Scheduling

Not ready to publish yet? Save your work as a draft and come back later, or schedule drafts to go live at a specific time.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Drafts**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory/drafts) (in the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager)).

<figure><img src="/files/PnwN4vn4iysv4GPiuLCq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

Drafts and scheduled drafts give you flexible control over when your listings go live:

* A **draft** is an in-progress listing in Nifty that hasn’t been published to a marketplace yet.
* **Ready to list** is a toggle that marks a draft as complete and eligible for bulk publishing and scheduling.
* A **scheduled listing** is a ready draft with a future publish time.

You can move drafts through this lifecycle at your own pace: create drafts, mark them as ready, then publish immediately or schedule them for later.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** There’s no limit on how many drafts you can have in Nifty.
{% endhint %}

### Drafts

#### Saving a draft

Any listing you're creating can be saved as a draft:

1. Fill in whatever information you have.
2. Click **Save as draft**.
3. The draft is saved to your **Drafts**.

Drafts don't need to be complete — all that's required is one photo, and you can fill in the rest later.

#### Working with drafts

From within an individual draft, you can:

* **Update:** Save your progress.
* **Delete:** Remove the draft permanently.
* **Navigate:** Use the dropdown or arrow buttons to move between drafts.
* **Mark as ready:** Confirm the draft is complete.

<figure><img src="/files/g3hf4t6AEdFj8z70OJxi" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

From the **Drafts** page, you can:

* **Edit:** Click a draft title to continue working.
* **Delete:** Remove the draft permanently.
* **Publish/Schedule:** Select multiple drafts and post immediately or set a future publish time.

#### What drafts are good for

* **Bulk generation:** Our [**Bulk Generate**](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator) feature allows you to submit up to 30 sets of photos to the AI, and the results are saved as drafts.
* **Batch photo sessions:** Upload photos for multiple items, save as drafts, add details later.
* **Incomplete information:** Save now, research pricing or details later.
* **Review before posting:** Create drafts, then review for quality before publishing.

### Scheduled listings

#### How to schedule

1. Complete your draft and toggle **Ready to list** (top right on desktop, bottom left on mobile).
2. Go back to the **Drafts** page.
3. Use the filter bar to narrow down to **Ready to list** drafts.
4. Select multiple drafts and click **Publish** in the **Bulk action bar** at the bottom.
5. Select the date and time you want the listing to go live (or now).
6. Confirm.

The draft will automatically publish at the selected time.

<figure><img src="/files/n6LuJAmYCNXencoa6h4C" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Managing scheduled listings

Once a draft is scheduled, it cannot be edited unless the schedule is canceled. To cancel:

* From the **Drafts** page: open the **Draft menu** (three dots on far right) and click **Unschedule**.
* Or open the draft and click **Unschedule**.

<figure><img src="/files/VUHyj80haYKuC94QFlxP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Why schedule listings

* **Optimal timing:** Post when buyers are most active.
* **Consistent posting:** Spread new listings throughout the week.
* **Batch workflow:** Prepare everything on Sunday, schedule throughout the week.

### Limitations

# Photo Editing and Management

Good photos sell items. Nifty gives you free editing tools plus an **AI Studio** — background removal in any color, ghost mannequin, flat lay, shadows, and AI models — so your listings stand out without leaving Nifty.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and open an item in the **Listing form** (see [Creating and Editing Items](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items)). Click any photo to open the **Edit photos** dialog.

The dialog has two modes, switched with the toggle at the top:

* **Free Tools** — free, manual tools (crop, filter, and more).
* **AI Studio** — AI-powered edits like background removal and virtual models. These edits use [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits).

<figure><img src="/files/MSQep1vY254g37rmGK8N" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Free Tools

Manual editing tools are available at no cost and don't use [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits):

| Tool     | What it does                          |
| -------- | ------------------------------------- |
| Crop | Trim edges or reframe the shot |
| Filter   | Apply preset adjustments              |
| Finetune | Adjust brightness, contrast, and more |
| Annotate | Overlay with arrows, shapes, or text |
| Frame | Add a border around the edges |
| Redact   | Blur sensitive information            |
| Rotate   | Fix orientation                       |
| Flip     | Produce a mirror image                |

Free edits apply to one photo at a time.

<figure><img src="/files/gmnKslWyUPqE3Sh4Wxo1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### AI Studio

Switch to **AI Studio** to apply AI edits powered by [Photoroom](https://www.photoroom.com/). Select one photo or several at once, choose your edits, then click **Apply edit** — Studio processes every selected photo together.

AI Studio edits are grouped into **Basic** and **Advanced**.

#### Basic: Remove background

Removes the cluttered background and replaces it with a clean, solid color.

1. Turn on **Remove background**.
2. Pick a background color — **White** (default) or a custom color.
3. Click **Apply edit**.

**Cost:** 1 **Smart Credit** per photo.

<figure><img src="/files/sxt9h13Zr8yUDIt3GQaW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Advanced: AI edits

Advanced edits use generative AI to restyle your product shot. They include background removal automatically, and you can combine several at once for a single flat rate.

| Edit                | What it does                                 |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| **Ghost mannequin** | Invisible mannequin effect for worn apparel |
| **Flat lay**        | A styled, shot-from-above layout             |
| **Shadow** | Casts a natural shadow under the item |
| **Virtual model** | Shows the item worn by an AI-generated model |

**Cost:** a flat **5 Smart Credits** per photo, no matter how many Advanced edits you combine.

A few rules keep results looking right:

* **Background removal is automatically applied** with any Advanced edit, so you don't pay the Basic credit on top.
* **Ghost mannequin** and **Flat lay** can't be used together — pick one.
* **Virtual model** generates a full scene with its own AI background, so it can't be combined with any other edit (including background removal).

#### Virtual model: Model, Scene, and Pose

When you turn on **Virtual model**, three options appear so you can steer the generated photo. Each defaults to **Auto** (or **Random**), letting the AI choose — but setting the model in particular will help ensure you're happy with the result.

| Option    | What it controls                                                                                 |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Model** | Which AI model wears the item — pick to match the intended look (for example women's vs. men's). |
| **Scene** | The background and setting, from a plain studio to a beach, street, café, and more. |
| **Pose** | How the model stands — standing, walking, seated, over-the-shoulder, and others. |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**AI results aren't refundable.** As soon as you click **Apply edit**, your photos are sent to Photoroom and the credits are spent immediately — the credit is not refunded even if you revert to the original. If an edit fails, the credits for those failed photos are automatically refunded.
{% endhint %}

### Per-marketplace photo selection

You can choose different photos or a different photo order for each marketplace.

#### When creating a listing

1. Add your photos at the top of the form as normal.
2. For each marketplace, click **Select photos** to update the selection or order.
3. When you publish, Nifty respects the per-marketplace choices.

<figure><img src="/files/INKBEh608bG7Guh3FQDh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This is useful when:

* One marketplace has a photo limit (Depop allows fewer than eBay)
* A certain photo works better as the cover on one platform
* You want to exclude a photo from a specific marketplace

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If you don't customize photos per marketplace, Nifty will take as many as we can for the marketplace. For example, for Depop we'll take the first 8 photos, as only 8 are allowed.
{% endhint %}

#### When editing an existing listing

When you reopen the **Edit item** form, Nifty does not preserve the per-marketplace view. Instead, you'll see a representative collection of photos at the top.

**Important behavior:**

* If you don't change the photos while editing, your listing photos stay exactly as they were on each marketplace.
* If you do make changes, you'll see a green **Changes detected** indicator.

<figure><img src="/files/o9tlmPd1hmZJIwDZHbBG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you see the **Changes detected** indicator, you may want to reselect photos per marketplace before saving — otherwise your changes apply uniformly.

### What you can't do

| Limitation          | Details                                                                                        |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Bulk free edits | AI Studio edits can be applied to multiple photos at once; Free Tools work one photo at a time |
| Edit the AI result | You can't manually adjust what the AI kept, removed, or generated |
| Refund after revert | Reverting an AI Studio edit doesn't refund the credit — processing already occurred |

# AI Listing Generator

Nifty's AI can create complete multi-marketplace listings from photos alone — generating titles, descriptions, categories, and item specifics automatically.

### Where to find it

To generate a single set of listings, go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and click **Add item** or **Edit item** (see [Creating and Editing Items](/crosslisting/creating-and-editing-items)). Click **Generate Listing** in the purple section below the photos.

To generate multiple sets of listings at once, go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) and click **Bulk Generate** (top right). On mobile, this appears as a button with a purple lightning bolt.

<figure><img src="/files/OKoM7sbFa3DDZHks1nCT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

1. Upload photos of your item.
2. Select up to 8 photos for AI analysis.
3. AI analyzes the images and fills in:
   * Title (optimized for search).
   * Description (customizable style).
   * Price (when recent comparable sales are available).
   * General details: condition, colors, style tags.
   * Marketplace-specific details: category, brand, size, specifics.
4. Review and edit the generated content.
5. Publish when ready.

The AI uses your photos to fill out all the relevant details. Better photos = better results.

**No setup required** — just upload photos and click Generate. The sections below explain optional ways to customize.

<figure><img src="/files/uCgqxFnKe9p589NsvkLe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Custom instructions

Want more control? Go to Settings → [**AI Generation**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/ai-generation) to customize how the AI writes your listings. This is optional — the AI works well with no configuration.

#### Using snippets

Not sure where to start? Use the snippet buttons to insert pre-built templates, then customize them. Snippets are just starting points — edit or delete any part.

Available snippets:

* **Title** — Customize what goes in your title and in what order
* **Description** — Tell the AI how to write your descriptions
  * **+ Tone** — Set the writing style (friendly, professional, etc.)
  * **+ Occasions** — Suggest when or where to use the item
  * **+ Item specifics** — Add a bulleted list of details
  * **+ Keywords** — Add search terms at the end
* **Condition** — Set a default when condition isn't obvious from photos

#### Writing your own instructions

You can write custom instructions in plain English. Be specific about what you want:

| Instead of...     | Try...                                                          |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| "Make it short" | "Keep descriptions under 500 characters" |
| "Add keywords"    | "Create a new section with 10-15 SEO keywords, comma-separated" |
| "Be professional" | "Use a friendly but professional tone, no emojis" |

For longer instructions, organize by section — the AI follows structured formatting best:

```
Title:
[your title instructions]
Description:
[your description instructions]
Condition:
[your condition instructions]
```

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip:** Writing good instructions is an art, not a science — expect to experiment. Try using an LLM like ChatGPT or Claude to help you draft and iterate. Describe what you sell and the style you want, then ask it to write instructions you can paste into Nifty.
{% endhint %}

#### Description footer

Add a personal touch that appears at the end of every description — like "Thanks for shopping secondhand!" or your return policy.

### Tips for best results

* **Clear, well-lit photos:** AI can only identify what it can see.
* **Include labels showing brand, size, and any identifiers:** AI is able to read text and look up the RN (Registered Identification Number).
* **Select a department:** For unisex items like jeans, selecting the department (men, women, kids) upfront will steer the AI in the right direction.
* **Include additional info:** Mention anything the AI can't see — like flaws or details you want included. The AI will incorporate them naturally.
* **Multiple angles:** Front, back, notable details.
* **Measurements:** Write measurements on a card, or include a photo with a ruler or tape measure — the AI reads both accurately.

### Smart Credits

Each AI generation uses 1 **Smart Credit**. See [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits) for details on costs and monthly allocations.

### Limitations

| Limitation        | Details                                                          |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Enhance your text | AI won't improve words you've already written — it replaces them |
| Learn your style | AI doesn't learn from your previous listings |

# Smart Credits

**Smart Credits** are Nifty's currency for AI-powered features. Your plan includes a monthly allocation, and certain actions consume credits.

### Where to find it

Go to Settings → [**Subscription**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/subscription).

As you use **Smart Credits**, the progress bar fills with purple. The number on the right shows exactly how many you've used so far (for example, `150/500 used`).

<figure><img src="/files/HrXZQQZNCY85BOVtCgbV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Credits reset on your billing date each month. Unused credits do not roll over.

### Getting more credits

If you use all your **Smart Credits**, AI features become unavailable until you have credits again. You can either:

* **Wait for your subscription to renew:** Your credits automatically replenish with each renewal. You can find your renewal date [above your Smart Credit usage](#where-to-find-it).
* **Buy more immediately:** **Smart Credits** are available in packs of 200 for $5. Purchased credits are separate from your subscription and expire after 90 days.

You can still create listings manually and use all non-AI features.

# List on Marketplace

Use **List on Marketplace** to take an item that’s already listed on one marketplace and post it to additional marketplaces without re-entering all the details.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager), find the item you want to crosslist, and click **List on Marketplace** in the empty cell for the marketplace you want to add.

<figure><img src="/files/ItYnIALJUNNJmUqy0hQs" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Not seeing the button?** The **List on Marketplace** button only appears if you're on a plan with **Crosslisting** and you're connected to that marketplace.
{% endhint %}

### How it works

When you crosslist an existing item with **List on Marketplace**:

1. Nifty copies the existing listing data (photos, title, description, price).
2. Nifty uses AI to fill in marketplace-specific fields (category, brand, size, item specifics).
3. You review shipping details and any required fields for the new marketplace.
4. You publish to the new marketplace.
5. The new listing appears in the same row as the original — linked for [**Auto‑Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting).

Everything, even the photos, is adjustable. We give you a starting point and you decide what to change.

### How to crosslist an existing item

1. In the **Inventory Manager**, locate the row for the item you want to crosslist.
2. In an empty cell for the marketplace you want to add, click **+ List on Marketplace**.
3. Review the pre-filled information from your existing listing (photos, title, description, price).
4. Check that the **Marketplace details** section has all required fields for the new marketplace, and update details if needed.
5. Click **List item** to publish to the new marketplace.

For an overview of all crosslisting workflows (including creating new items and using AI from photos), see [Crosslisting](/crosslisting/crosslisting).

# Bulk Crosslisting

If you list on one marketplace, sync to Nifty, and then crosslist your items, **Bulk Crosslisting** is for you. Select multiple items and Nifty crosslists them instantly using AI.

### Where to find it

Select items in the [**Inventory Manager**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory), then click **Crosslist** in the **Bulk action bar**.

<figure><img src="/files/2g3hgsfBLpfJlG7Mf5fk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Before you start

Before Bulk Crosslisting, we recommend reviewing the following settings and making sure they line up with your listing practices:

1. **Primary Marketplace**: Your Primary Marketplace is the one you typically start with when listing. Head over to [Settings > Marketplaces](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) and click **Set as primary**.
2. [**Pricing Rules**](/crosslisting/pricing-rules): Your Pricing Rules specify how your listings should be priced across marketplaces. Use these to account for typical expenses such as marketplace fees and shipping labels.
3. [**Shipping Presets**](/crosslisting/listing-shortcuts#shipping-presets): If you bulk crosslist different types of items at once, save time by writing a usage condition for each Shipping Preset. For best results, use categorical language (e.g., "Use for small accessories" rather than "Use for items under 4oz"). This will allow the AI to automatically choose the best preset per item.

### How it works

When you crosslist an existing item with **Bulk Crosslisting**:

1. You select the desired marketplaces, pricing, and shipping up-front.
2. Nifty reviews the existing listing data (everything from photos to item specifics).
3. Nifty uses AI to fill in all the details, returning complete, ready-to-post listings.
4. The listings can be saved as a draft for your review, or published immediately.
5. The new listings appear in the same row as the original — linked for [**Auto‑Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting).

{% hint style="info" %}
If your original listing(s) have a title or description that could be improved per your **Custom instructions**, Bulk Crosslisting will modify these fields on your existing listing(s) as well.
{% endhint %}

### How to bulk crosslist

1. In the **Inventory Manager**, select the items you want to crosslist.
2. Click **Crosslist** in the **Bulk action bar**.
3. Choose the marketplaces you want to crosslist to.
4. Confirm your pricing. Your Pricing Rules are prefilled, and you can adjust them as needed.
5. Select a Shipping Preset. If you have usage conditions set up, you can let AI choose the best one for each item automatically.
6. Choose how you want the results to be saved — either as drafts that you can review later, or published listings that go live as soon as they're generated.
7. Click **Bulk crosslist**.

Your listings are generated in the background, so you can keep working while we process them.

### Finding your new listings

Drafts are waiting under **Listed** → **Bulk crosslisted** in the **Inventory Manager**.

If you chose **Publish now**, your listings go live without a review step. Anything that can't be published is saved as a draft with a **Publishing error** so nothing is lost — for example, if AI couldn't find a shipping preset that fits the item.

### Smart Credits

Bulk Crosslisting uses 1 **Smart Credit** per item. See [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits) for details on costs and monthly allocations.

# Auto‑Delisting

When an item sells on one marketplace, you don't want it sitting on others — that's how double sales happen. Nifty can automatically delist sold items from your other platforms.

### Where to find it

Go to Settings → [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/sale-detection).

To review detected sales and outcomes, go to [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory/sales) (in the **Inventory Manager**).

### Sale detection

**Sale Detection** is always on for [plans that include it](#plans-that-include-sale-detection). When your item sells on a connected marketplace, Nifty:

1. Detects the sale (within 15 minutes).
2. Updates your **Inventory Manager**.
3. Adds the sale to your **Analytics**.

This happens automatically — no setup required.

For a detailed view of detected sales and their outcomes, see [Sale Detection Tracker](/auto-delisting/sale-detection-tracker).

### Auto-delisting

**Auto-Delisting** is opt-in. When enabled, Nifty takes it a step further: after detecting a sale, we remove the listings from your other platforms.

You can enable auto-delisting for some marketplaces and not others.

To turn on auto-delisting and make sure your items are eligible, see [Setup Guide](/auto-delisting/setup-guide).

### Auto-adjust quantity

For multi-quantity items, **Auto-Adjust Quantity** keeps stock levels synchronized. When one unit sells, Nifty updates the quantity on all other platforms.

This is all-or-nothing — you can't enable it for some marketplaces and not others.

#### A note about Mercari

Mercari only allows a quantity of 1, so we handle it differently. Say you have 4 shirts listed (qty 4 on Poshmark/eBay/Depop, qty 1 on Mercari):

* Sale on Poshmark → qty drops to 3 elsewhere, Mercari stays at 1.
* Sale on Mercari → qty drops to 3 elsewhere, and we relist Mercari with qty 1 (since the sold listing is gone and you still have stock).

### Limitations

| Limitation             | Details                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Speed up detection     | The 15-minute window can't be shortened.                                                                                                                                |
| Reverse sold status | If a sale is canceled, you'll need to [relist manually](/auto-delisting/troubleshooting#a-sale-was-cancelled-after-auto-delisting). |
| Mark as "not for sale" | Items are fully delisted, not marked unavailable. |
| Look backward in time | Auto-delisting only applies to sales going forward. Past sales aren't retroactively processed. |
| Multi-variant listings | **Auto-Delisting** and **Auto-Adjust Quantity** don't support items with multiple variants (for example, multiple sizes). Create one item per variant if you need them. |

### Plans that include sale detection

| Plan                        | Includes sale detection |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| **Poshmark Automation**     | ❌ Not included          |
| **eBay Automation**         | ❌ Not included          |
| **Full Automation**         | ❌ Not included          |

# Setup Guide

**Auto-Delisting** removes sold items from your other marketplaces automatically. Here’s how to set it up.

### Where to find it

Go to Settings → [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/sale-detection).

### Enabling Auto-Delisting

Toggle on the marketplaces where you want Nifty to automatically delist sold items.

When a single-quantity item sells, Nifty removes the item’s other marketplace listings from the platforms you've enabled.

### Enabling Auto-Adjust Quantity

Toggle on **Auto-Adjust Quantity** to keep multi-quantity items synchronized.

When one unit sells, Nifty updates the quantity on all other platforms. If the sale was on Mercari, we also relist it (since Mercari listings disappear when sold).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** **Auto-Adjust Quantity** is all-or-nothing. You can't enable it for some marketplaces and not others.
{% endhint %}

### Requirements

Three things must be true for an item to be eligible:

#### 1. The feature must be turned on

This might seem obvious, but it's the most common reason auto-delisting doesn't work. Double-check that your toggles are enabled in **Inventory Settings**.

<figure><img src="/files/6kLMr79AxsnXeDDSrGVb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 2. The item must be verified

When Nifty matches your listings across platforms, the results are **Unverified** until you confirm they're correct. Only verified items are eligible for auto-delisting.

To verify items:

1. Go to [**Inventory**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory) (in the **Inventory Manager**).
2. In the filter bar, select **Unverified**.
3. Sort by **Item name** — this groups similar titles together and makes the review process easier.
4. Review each page. If you notice anything off, drag and drop your listings into the correct row.
5. Select all rows and click **Verify** at the bottom.

<figure><img src="/files/6LEkVVa0XuVYdnvqa5mR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** Items you create or crosslist through Nifty are automatically verified. This one-time review is only needed for inventory you imported from elsewhere.
{% endhint %}

#### 3. The item cannot have a mismatched quantity warning

Nifty can't auto-adjust items that show a [**Mismatched Quantity**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) warning — we’re not sure what the correct quantity should be.

To fix mismatched quantities:

1. Use the **Mismatched Quantity** filter to find affected items.
2. For each one, click the **Item menu** → **Edit item**.
3. Adjust the quantity at the top of the page.
4. Click **Update item**.

<figure><img src="/files/gWVeqstnmyRGDamOPKQv" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Mercari doesn't count toward this warning since it always has a quantity of 1.
{% endhint %}

### After setup

Auto-delisting only catches sales going forward. For any past sales that weren't fully delisted, use the [**Partially delisted**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) filter to find and clean them up manually.

# Sale Detection Tracker

The **Sale Detection Tracker** shows every sale Nifty detects and exactly what happened with **Auto-Delisting**. Use it to confirm things are working or investigate when they're not.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory/sales) (in the **Inventory Manager**).

<figure><img src="/files/vP1t53szGXCApLRbAbuI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What the tracker shows

The tracker keeps 60 days of history. For each detected sale:

| Column                 | Description                            |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **Item** | Photo, title, and SKU |
| **Sold on** | Which marketplace the sale occurred on |
| **Detected at** | When Nifty detected the sale |
| **Quantity** | How many sold, and how many remain |
| **Auto-delist status** | Outcome for each other marketplace |

### Status meanings

| **No action required: already delisted** | The other listings were already removed |

#### Not attempted

| Status          | What it means                                                             |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Not enabled** | Auto-delisting wasn't enabled for that marketplace when the sale occurred |

#### Failed

| Status                         | What it means                              |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Failed: Connection expired** | No active connection for that marketplace |
| **Failed: Unexpected error** | Something went wrong during auto-delisting |

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** Anything showing as **Failed** also triggers an email notification — so you have two places to catch errors.
{% endhint %}

#### Ineligible

| Status                                              | What it means                                                   |
| --------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Ineligible: item is not verified** | The item wasn't verified before being sold |
| **Ineligible: item is multi-variant**               | Multi-variant items aren't supported                            |
| **Ineligible: Auto-Adjust Quantity is not enabled** | Multi-quantity item, but **Auto-Adjust Quantity** was off |
| **Ineligible: listing was not imported** | The item wasn't in your **Inventory Manager** before being sold |
| **Ineligible: item has mismatched quantities** | The item didn't have consistent quantities before being sold |

### When to use the tracker

* **Verifying setup** — After enabling auto-delisting, check that sales are being processed correctly.
* **Investigating issues** — When an item didn't delist, see exactly what went wrong.
* **After double sales** — Understand why auto-delisting didn't prevent it.

# Troubleshooting

Having issues with **Auto-Delisting**? Start here.

### Auto-Delisting isn't working at all

Check these in order:

| Check                     | How to verify                                                                                                                  | Fix                                                 |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Feature enabled | Settings → [**Sale Detection**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/sale-detection) → toggles are on | Enable for desired marketplaces |
| Marketplaces connected    | Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) → all show "Signed in"                                 | Reconnect expired sessions                          |
| Items verified            | Filter to [**Unverified**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory?filter=unverified) → zero remaining                                  | Select items → click **Verify**                     |
| Correct account connected | Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections) → **View connected account** shows the correct account | Disconnect, then reconnect with correct credentials |

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** If **Auto-Delisting** has been failing for a while, double-check you're connected to the right account. See [Getting Back On Track](/getting-started/getting-back-on-track) after reconnecting.
{% endhint %}

Remember: **Auto-Delisting** only works forward. Past sales won't be retroactively delisted.

### A specific item didn't auto-delist

1. Check the **Sale Detection Tracker**. Find the sale and look at the status — it will tell you exactly what happened.
2. If the tracker says it was successful but the item is still live elsewhere, you might have duplicate rows.

To check for duplicates:

1. Go to [**Inventory**](https://app.nifty.ai/inventory).
2. Select **All** as the status filter.
3. Search for a keyword in the item title.
4. Look for two rows — one sold, one still listed.
5. Select the extra row(s) and click **Delist** in the **Bulk action bar**.

If there is a duplicate, it's worth running through [Finding and Fixing Duplicates](/inventory-management/finding-and-fixing-duplicates#how-to-fix-duplicates) to proactively detect and delist duplicates before they oversell.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** This often happens after relisting outside of Nifty. See [How to fix duplicates](/inventory-management/finding-and-fixing-duplicates#how-to-fix-duplicates).
{% endhint %}

### My connection expired — now I have partially delisted items

When your connection expires, we can't auto-delist on that marketplace. We'll email you about every sale we detect but can't fully process.

After you reconnect:

* **Sales on that marketplace (the one that expired):** Nifty looks back up to 48 hours and runs the full pipeline — detecting and delisting anything we missed.
* **Sales on other marketplaces:** Those already auto-delisted where they could, just not on the expired one. You'll need to clean these up manually.

To clean up:

1. Reconnect on Settings → [**Connections**](https://app.nifty.ai/settings/connections).
2. In the **Inventory Manager**, filter to **Listed** and use the **Partially delisted** filter.
3. Sort by **Sale detected at** to see recent sales first.
4. Select the affected rows.
5. Click **Delist** to remove remaining listings.
6. Repeat for each page.

<figure><img src="/files/tdXVA48eahaPkY25Bkpp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### A sale was cancelled after auto-delisting

Nifty can't detect cancelled sales, and sold status can't be reversed. Here's how to handle it manually:

1. Go to [**Analytics**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics) and find the sale in **Orders**.
2. Select it and click **Refresh** at the bottom — this updates the status to **Cancelled**.
3. In the **Inventory Manager**, filter to **Sold**.
4. Find the item, click the **Item menu** → **Copy item…**.
5. Relist on all platforms.

### An item sold back-to-back on different marketplaces

For popular items getting attention across multiple platforms, 15 minutes might not be fast enough. For these special cases, you might consider manually delisting immediately after a sale for extra peace of mind.

# Dashboard

The **Dashboard** is your command center for Nifty's automation features. Set up your **Automations** once, and they run day after day — even while you sleep.

### Where to find it

Click [**Automation**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) in the left sidebar (computer) or bottom navigation bar (mobile).

<figure><img src="/files/IEnYiIs2J9Z2CiWhh2GT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How it works

Nifty’s **Automations** run in the background, even when your computer or phone is off. As long as your marketplace accounts stay connected, Nifty keeps sharing, relisting, sending offers, and following according to the settings you’ve saved.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** It’s okay if your **Inventory Manager** is out of date — **Automations** act directly on your marketplaces and don’t rely on what's shown in Nifty.
{% endhint %}

### Automation types

| Automation | What it does | Available on |
| -------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------ |
| [**Shares**](/automation/automatic-shares)   | Shares your listings to increase visibility        | Poshmark                       |
| [**Relists**](/automation/automatic-relists) | Deletes and recreates listings for fresh exposure | Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop |
| [**Offers**](/automation/automatic-offers) | Sends offers to users who liked/watched your items | Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop |
| [**Follows**](/automation/automatic-follows) | Follows other users to grow your audience | Poshmark |

### Setting up automations

**To start an automation:**

1. Click **Get Started** to open the settings
2. Turn at least one setting on (toggle moves from gray to green)
3. Click **Save** — your automation starts immediately

**To update an automation:**

1. Click **Update settings**
2. Adjust your settings
3. Click **Save** — changes apply immediately

**To stop an automation:**

1. Click **Update settings**
2. Turn all settings off
3. Click **Save** — automation stops immediately

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** After reconnecting an expired marketplace, click **Get Started** then **Apply Previous Settings** (bottom left) to restore your old configuration.
{% endhint %}

### Daily totals

The **Dashboard** shows today's activity for each automation, plus a preview of the last action ("last community share," "last reciprocal follow," etc.).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** These numbers reset at midnight in the timezone you signed up with. If you check right after midnight and see all zeros, that's expected — it's a new day.
{% endhint %}

### Vacation mode

**On Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop:** When you activate vacation mode, your listings become temporarily unavailable. Nifty pauses self-shares, relists, and offers, but continues community shares and follows. When you disable vacation mode, automations resume the next day.

**On eBay:** You may still allow sales while away, so turn activities off/on as you see fit.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Nifty checks your vacation status at the start of each day. If you turn off vacation mode mid-day, your automations won't resume until the next day — or you can restart them manually.
{% endhint %}

### Plans that include Automation

| Plan                    | Includes Automation |
| ----------------------- | ------------------- |
| Poshmark Automation     | ✅ Poshmark only     |
| eBay Automation         | ✅ eBay only         |
| Full Automation         | ✅ All marketplaces  |
| Bundle Plus / Pro       | ✅ All marketplaces  |
| Crosslisting Plus / Pro | ❌ Not included      |

# History

**History** shows your automation activity from the past 7 days. Use it to confirm things are running, review outcomes, or troubleshoot when something seems off.

### Where to find it

### Tracker view

The trackers give you an item-by-item breakdown over time. There are three trackers:

| Tracker                 | What it shows                                     |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Party Share Tracker** | Every party share from the past 7 days |
| **Relist Tracker** | Every relist attempt, successful or failed |
| **Offer Tracker** | Every detected like and whether an offer was sent |

Each row shows:

* **Item** — which listing the action was performed on
* **Action** — what happened (party share, relist, offer)
* **Marketplace** — where it occurred
* **Time** — when the action completed
* **Status** — success, or failure with a reason

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Regular self-shares and follows aren't included in the tracker — they happen so frequently that it wouldn't be useful to scroll through. Use the Graph view to monitor those.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/Zf7pUSCkXrVcweSQL5On" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Filtering

Use the search bar to find a specific item, or narrow down results with filters:

| Filter        | Options                          |
| ------------- | -------------------------------- |
| Activity type | Shares, Relists, Offers, Follows |
| Marketplace | Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop |

### Common failure reasons

When an action doesn't go as planned, the tracker tells you why. Here are some examples:

#### Relists

| Reason                                                                              | What it means                                                                                |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The item was not available for purchase | The item is no longer for sale on that marketplace |
| Invalid brand/category/size/etc. | The listing cannot be relisted in its current state |
| You have reached your listing limit, and new listings cannot be created at any time | You have reached the listing limit for that marketplace. See the relevant marketplace guide. |

#### Offers

| Reason                                                             | What it means                                                          |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The item was not available for purchase | The item is no longer for sale on that marketplace |
| The item was excluded from offers by your filters | The item didn't match the criteria in your automation settings |
| The buyer already received another offer from you in the past hour | To avoid spamming buyers, we send at most one offer per buyer per hour |

### Limitations

| Limitation            | Details                       |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| History beyond 7 days | Older activity isn't retained |
| Export history | No download option currently |

# Automatic Shares

Sharing is essential on Poshmark — it keeps your listings visible in followers' feeds and search results. Nifty automates this so you don't have to sit there tapping all day.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Poshmark** → **Shares & Relists**.

### How it works

Nifty works from bottom to top so your closet stays organized exactly how you arranged it. As we move through, we check each item: relist if it's old enough and matches your criteria, party share if there's an eligible party, or regular share otherwise.

### Types of shares

**Self-shares** — Sharing your own listings to your followers' feeds.

**Party shares** — Poshmark hosts daily themed parties at 9 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, and 7 PM Pacific. If Nifty is sharing an eligible item during a party, we share to the party instead. We don't rearrange your closet to chase parties — they happen naturally as we work through your items.

**Community shares** — Sharing other sellers' listings. We find sellers who recently shared your listings and return the favor. Community shares are a requirement to gain and maintain Posh Ambassador status.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Party shares are a type of self-share. If you request 8,000 shares total and see 7,000 self-shares + 1,000 party shares, that's correct — you got your full 8,000.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up shares

#### Daily goals

Nifty recommends a daily number based on your closet size. You can adjust this, but the maximum is 8,000 self-shares per day.

**Why the limit?** Poshmark monitors for spam-like activity. Our limits are calibrated to keep your account safe while maximizing visibility.

#### Daily schedule

By default, Nifty targets peak hours based on historical sales data.

If you want full control, you can set your own 24-hour schedule. For each hour, pick an intensity: none, low, medium, or high. Nifty distributes your total daily shares across the hours based on these settings.

**Our recommendation:** Aim for at least 16 hours of active share time with varied intensity throughout.

**Why?** Think of it like driving 8,000 miles. If someone tells you to drive "fast" the entire time, that's not really fast — it's just one constant speed. Fast only means something compared to slow.

Same with share intensity. If every hour is set to "high," you're just sharing at a constant rate all day. Crank up the speed thoughtfully, to match when you believe your buyers are online.

<figure><img src="/files/upLG1QV830AjVVlsgbpW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Large closets (5,000+ items)

For closets with more than 5,000 active listings, we take a special approach to handle a Poshmark platform limitation. While shoppers and most sharing tools can only access the first 5,000 items in your closet, Nifty has developed a unique solution that ensures every single listing in your inventory gets shared. This means no matter how large your closet grows, Nifty will continue to effectively share all your items.

### Limitations

| Limitation                | Details                              |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| Share more than 8,000/day | Maximum for account safety |
| Share sold items | Nifty only shares active listings |
| Share specific items only | All active listings are included |
| Force party shares | Parties happen naturally as we share |

# Automatic Relists

Fresh listings get more visibility. Marketplace algorithms favor newer items, so relisting — deleting and recreating a listing — gives your item a second chance to be seen.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and find **Relists** for your marketplace.

Marketplace-specific guides:

* [Automatic Relists: Depop](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-depop)
* [Automatic Recreates: eBay](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-recreates-ebay)
* [Automatic Relists: Mercari](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-mercari)
* [Automatic Relists: Poshmark](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-poshmark)

### Daily limit

Nifty allows up to 100 automatic relists per day. To cover your entire closet, choose a cycle length that works with this limit (100/day × 60 days = 6,000 items), or supplement with [Bulk Relist](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-relist) in the [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager).

### Price adjustments

You can set automated price adjustments when relisting:

| Option        | Effect                              |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| No change | Keep original price |
| Reduce by $   | Lower by a fixed amount (e.g., -$1) |
| Reduce by %   | Lower by a percentage (e.g., -5%)   |
| Increase by $ | Raise by a fixed amount             |
| Increase by % | Raise by a percentage               |

Any adjustment you configure is applied each time an item is relisted until you change or turn it off.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** When relisting an item that's currently on sale, we use the original price as the starting price for the new listing, not the sale price. Any price adjustment you configure applies on top of that.
{% endhint %}

### Filters

Control which items get relisted using filters:

* **By likers/watchers** — e.g., skip items with 10+ likers.
* **By condition** — e.g., skip items marked as new.
* **By price** — e.g., only relist items $20–$200.
* **By keyword** — e.g., skip items with "vintage" in the title.

All filter criteria must be true for an item to be included. If a listing fails any filter, it won't be relisted.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Applying these filters is not recommended unless you need to exclude certain items explicitly.
{% endhint %}

### Stale listing indicator

Items that haven't been relisted in 60+ days show a gray clock icon in your **Inventory Manager**. This helps you spot listings that might need attention.

### Troubleshooting

If you're not seeing relists, check these in order:

1. **Advanced filters:** Review your settings for filters that may be unintentionally excluding listings.
2. **Listing age**: Verify that you have items older than your relisting cycle. Here's how:
   * **Depop**: Navigate to your [active listings](https://www.depop.com/sellinghub/selling/active/) and scroll to the bottom
   * **eBay**: Go to your Seller Hub and [sort by “Time left”](https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active?action=sort\&sort=timeRemaining)
   * **Mercari**: Visit “My listings” and [sort by oldest first](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/listings/active/?sortBy=6)
   * **Poshmark**: Download your [Inventory Report](https://support.poshmark.com/s/article/How-to-download-My-Inventory-Report?language=en_US)

### Limitations

| Limitation                             | Details                                                                                 |
| -------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Relist more than 100/day automatically | Supplement with [Bulk Relist](/inventory-management/bulk-actions#bulk-relist) if needed |
| Different settings per item type | Same configuration applies to all items |
| Choose specific relist times | Nifty distributes throughout the day |

# Automatic Relists: Depop

Keep your Depop shop fresh with automatic relisting.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Depop** → **Relists**.

### How it works

1. Creates a new listing with the same details.
2. Deletes the original.
3. Updates your [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager) so the listing stays in place and [**Auto‑Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting) keeps working.
4. Logs the result in the **Relist Tracker** in [**History**](/automation/history).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Depop listings with incoming offers are skipped so as not to disrupt potential sales.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up relists

Nifty recommends a daily total using the following formula: **Total items ÷ Relisting cycle = Daily relists**. We enforce a 30-day minimum cycle out of respect for Depop.

Additionally, you can set up a [price adjustment](/automation/automatic-relists#price-adjustments) and include/exclude listings using [advanced filters](/automation/automatic-relists#filters).

<figure><img src="/files/fBRzSidoLB8zMInJ2HFO" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Preserving SKUs

Due to limitations with SKUs on Depop, Nifty can't carry your SKU over when relisting. See [SKUs on Depop](/marketplace-guides/selling-on-depop#skus) for more.

If your SKUs are saved in Depop and nowhere else, you can export a copy of them first:

1. Run a [**Full Sync**](/inventory-management/sync-and-refresh#full-sync) — this brings your Depop SKUs into Nifty.
2. Export your **Active Inventory** report from [**Profit & Loss**](/analytics/insights-and-reports#profit-and-loss).

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** To keep a SKU going forward, save it on the item in Nifty — we store it even when it can't be published to the marketplace.
{% endhint %}

### Preserving SKUs

Due to limitations with SKUs on Depop, Nifty cannot carry this information over alongside relisting. If your SKU information is saved in Depop (and nowhere else — neither Nifty, nor another marketplace), please follow these steps **before** enabling automatic relists:

1. Run a **Full Sync** — this brings your SKUs from Depop into Nifty.
2. Export your **Active Inventory** report — this creates a historical record of your SKUs.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip**: When you create listings in Nifty, we save your SKU to our system, even if it can't be posted to the marketplace itelf.
{% endhint %}

### Boosting

Depop's paid Boost feature carries over when Nifty relists an item. To unboost, edit the listing in Nifty and set the "**Boost your listing?"** toggle to **No**.

# Automatic Recreates: eBay

eBay's algorithm favors fresh listings. Nifty helps by recreating your listings — ending the old one and creating a new one with a fresh listing ID.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **eBay** → **Recreates**.

### How it works

1. Ends your existing listing.
2. Creates a new listing with a new ID.

**Why end before creating?** eBay doesn't allow duplicate titles, so we have to end the old listing first.

**What if recreating fails?** We mark the item as delisted in your **Inventory Manager** and send you an email. You can also find it using the [**Partially delisted**](/inventory-management/search-sort-and-filter#issues-filter) filter.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** When your listing is auto-renewed, existing offers are voided. For that reason, unlike on other marketplaces, we recreate regardless of existing offers.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up recreates

Nifty recreates listings 30 minutes before eBay would auto-renew them. The new listing still counts against your monthly listing limit, but with a better outcome — a brand new listing ID that can perform better in search.

You can choose a 30, 60, 90, 120, or 180-day cycle. For example, with a 60-day cycle, Nifty only recreates listings that are 59+ days old with less than 30 minutes left.

Because we can't predict how many items will be up for auto-renewal day after day, we recommend a daily total of 100 (the maximum). This gives Nifty the room to tackle as many eligible items as possible per day.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If you have more than 100 listings auto-renewing, Nifty will recreate the first 100, and eBay will auto-renew the rest as usual. We recommend using a 60+ day cycle to help divide busy days up, ensuring everything gets recreated over time.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/qUuAb7eE4MvH8lkUReJy" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Insertion fees

eBay [charges insertion fees](https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/selecting-listing-duration?id=4652) both when an item is initially listed and when it auto-renews. To avoid extra insertion fees, Nifty's recreate feature ends and recreates listings 30 minutes before eBay would auto-renew them. This means:

* You pay the same exact insertion fee, just 30 minutes sooner.
* Even if you turn off Nifty's recreate feature, eBay will still charge insertion fees when your listings auto-renew.

**To manage your eBay insertion fees effectively:**

* Monitor your free monthly listing allowance in relation to your inventory size.
* Evaluate whether an eBay store subscription would be cost-effective for your volume.
* Contact eBay support directly if you notice any unexpected charges.

### Automatic promotions

If you promote your listings individually, these cannot be carried over to recreated listings. However, if you promote your listings using rule-based campaigns, everything works.

**Here's how to set up rule-based promotions:**

1. Go to your [advertising dashboard](https://www.ebay.com/sh/mktg/pl) and click **Create new campaign** → **Promote your listings**.
2. Choose your campaign strategy — we recommend **General**.
3. Click **Add listings,** and at the top, select **Rule-based**.
4. Create one or more rules for your listings, specifying which ones should be included.
5. Choose your ad rate strategy — we recommend **Fixed ad rate**.
6. Click **Launch**.

Current and future listings, including recreates made by Nifty, will automatically be added or removed from this campaign according to your rules.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/7MACiY39iiVKYK7TSG6G" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### Allow best offer

If you relist with a price adjustment, your **Auto-Accept Offer** and **Auto-Decline Offer** prices may no longer be valid.

When using Nifty’s automatic price reductions alongside eBay's Auto-Accept and Auto-Decline thresholds, pricing conflicts can occur because a threshold cannot exceed the listing price. Nifty does not automatically alter your offer thresholds when a price drop occurs. Instead, the system disables conflicting options to prevent errors on eBay.

#### Threshold Behavior During Price Reductions

When a price reduction triggers, the system manages your thresholds as follows:

* Price drops below Auto-Accept (but stays above Auto-Decline): The Auto-Accept feature is turned off. The Auto-Decline threshold remains active.
* Price drops below or matches Auto-Decline: Both Auto-Accept and Auto-Decline features are turned off.

### Limitations

| Limitation                       | Details                          |
| -------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| Carry over individual promotions | Use rule-based campaigns instead |

# Automatic Relists: Mercari

Refresh your Mercari listings to improve visibility and attract new buyers.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Mercari** → **Relists**.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Mercari listings with incoming offers are skipped so as not to disrupt potential sales.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up relists

Nifty recommends a daily total using the following formula: **Total items ÷ Relisting cycle = Daily relists**. We enforce a 30-day minimum cycle out of respect for Mercari.

Additionally, you can set up a [price adjustment](/automation/automatic-relists#price-adjustments) and include/exclude listings using [advanced filters](/automation/automatic-relists#filters).

<figure><img src="/files/fik1pSuUIDNpbp8FESEw" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Listing limit

Mercari uses a progressive listing limit — new accounts start at 100 listings, and the limit increases by 100 per completed sale.

Nifty creates the new listing before deleting the old one. This means you need at least one open slot below your limit for relists to work.

Example: If your limit is 200 and you have 200 active listings, relists will fail until you sell something or delete a listing.

### Mercari Authenticate™

Authentication is a paid feature and can't be transferred to a new listing. For that reason, we do not relist items verified through Mercari Authenticate™.

### Smart Pricing

When Smart Pricing is active, Mercari gradually drops your listing from its original price down to a floor you set. Because a relist creates a brand-new listing, we have to choose what price to start it at:

* If Smart Pricing is still active and valid, we relist at the original price so it can drop again from the top — just like the first time around.
* Otherwise — Smart Pricing was never on, or the price already reached its floor — we relist at the current price and leave Smart Pricing off, so your listing keeps an acceptable price without any further action from you.

If you relist with a price adjustment, it's applied on top of that starting price. When the adjustment leaves Smart Pricing no longer valid, we automatically disable it for the new item.

### Limitations

| Limitation              | Details                                    |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Relist at full capacity | Need at least 1 open slot below your limit |

# Automatic Relists: Poshmark

Relisting on Poshmark gives your items a fresh start in search results.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Poshmark** → **Shares & Relists**.

### How it works

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Poshmark listings with incoming offers are skipped so as not to disrupt potential sales.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up relists

Nifty recommends a daily total using the following formula: **Total items ÷ Relisting cycle = Daily relists**. We enforce a 30-day minimum cycle out of respect for Poshmark.

Additionally, you can set up a [price adjustment](/automation/automatic-relists#price-adjustments) and include/exclude listings using [advanced filters](/automation/automatic-relists#filters).

<figure><img src="/files/upLG1QV830AjVVlsgbpW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Automatic Offers

With **Automatic Offers**, Nifty can automatically send offers when buyers show interest in your listings.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Offers** (for your marketplace).

Marketplace-specific guides:

* [Automatic Offers: Depop](/automation/automatic-offers/automatic-offers-depop)
* [Automatic Offers: eBay](/automation/automatic-offers/automatic-offers-ebay)
* [Automatic Offers: Mercari](/automation/automatic-offers/automatic-offers-mercari)
* [Automatic Offers: Poshmark](/automation/automatic-offers/automatic-offers-poshmark)

### How it works

When a buyer likes, watches, or bundles one of your listings, Nifty:

1. Detects the activity.
2. Checks whether the listing meets your offer criteria.
3. Sends an offer with your configured discount.
4. Logs the result in the **Offer Tracker** in [**History**](/automation/history).

{% hint style="info" %}
If we detect that the buyer has already sent you an offer, we’ll skip sending an automatic offer.
{% endhint %}

### Offer strategies

#### One-size-fits-all

Set a single discount percentage for all listings (for example, “15% off”). You can still add filters (price, condition, keyword, etc.) to control which listings are eligible.

#### Tiered offers

Create multiple offers with different criteria. Common filters include:

* **Age** — for example, send steeper discounts on older listings.
* **Price** — for example, only send offers on listings priced $20–$200.
* **Condition** — for example, skip listings marked as new.
* **Keyword** — for example, skip listings with “firm” in the title.

All filter criteria on a given offer must be true for that offer to apply.

### Offer processing order

Nifty evaluates offers from top to bottom and sends the first offer whose filters all match.

In most cases:

* Put more specific offers at the top.
* Put more general offers at the bottom.

To rearrange offers, drag and drop the offer cards.

{% hint style="info" %}
When a listing is relisted, its age resets to zero. If you use age-based offers (for example, “older than 7 days”), newly relisted listings need to age again before becoming eligible.
{% endhint %}

### Base price

On marketplaces like eBay and Depop, you can apply discounts (sales) to your listings. When configuring offers, you can choose how the offer interacts with those sales:

* **Original price** — offer is calculated from the full price.
* **Current price** — offer is calculated from the sale price.

**Example:** You have a 20% offer configured, a 10% sale on shoes, and a 30% sale on sweaters.

* **Original price** — shoes get 20% off the full price (better than the 10% sale). Sweaters don’t get an additional offer because the 30% sale already beats it.
* **Current price** — shoes get 20% off the already-discounted price (stacking discounts).

### Multiple likes from the same buyer

If a buyer likes multiple listings from you, Nifty sends one offer and waits at least an hour before sending another.

### Waterfall offers

If a buyer doesn't respond to your initial offer, Nifty can automatically send follow-up offers with deeper discounts. You can configure up to 2 follow-up offers spread over 7 days.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Available on:** Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop.
{% endhint %}

Waterfall offers only trigger when an initial offer is sent. If a listing is excluded from offers (for example, by a price or keyword filter), it won't receive waterfall offers either. Furthermore, waterfall offers are sent the same way as your initial offer — if the initial was an Offer to Likers, the waterfall will be too.

Each follow-up discount applies to the previous offer price, not the original — the discounts stack.

**Example:** You have three offer rules (10% off new, 20% off used, no offer under $20) plus a 10% waterfall:

| Scenario         | Initial offer | Waterfall offer   |
| ---------------- | ------------- | ----------------- |
| New item ($100)  | $90 (10% off) | $81 (10% off $90) |
| Used item ($100) | $80 (20% off) | $72 (10% off $80) |
| Item under $20   | No offer      | No waterfall      |

{% hint style="info" %}
Disabling waterfall offers prevents new sequences from starting, but it doesn't cancel follow-up offers for sequences that are already in progress.
{% endhint %}

### Responding to incoming offers

**Automatic Offers** sends offers on your behalf, but it doesn’t respond to offers that buyers send you:

* **eBay** — use eBay’s built-in “auto-accept” and “auto-decline” when creating listings.
* **Poshmark**, **Mercari**, **Depop** — sign in to these platforms directly to respond.

Check your marketplaces regularly — timely responses can significantly increase your sales.

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Depop** → **Offers**.

### Setting up offers

**Base price:** Which price the discount should be applied to. See [**Automatic Offers**](/automation/automatic-offers#base-price) for how this works.

**Timing:** Choose when to send the offer after a like. You pick a 5-minute window, up to 3 hours later.

**Discount:** Minimum 5% off.

# Automatic Offers: eBay

Send offers automatically to eBay buyers who watch your listings.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and find eBay → Offers.

### Setting up offers

**Base price:** Which price the discount should be applied to. See [**Automatic Offers**](/automation/automatic-offers#base-price) for how this works.

**Discount:** Minimum 5% off.

**Personal message:** A message to send alongside the offer.

<figure><img src="/files/orb9wXCfO3oNYzUzN0Ix" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** To increase conversion rate, eBay recommends always adding a customized message to offers.
{% endhint %}

### Eligibility

Not all eBay listings can receive automatic offers. eBay's requirements include:

* Listing age and format
* Limits on how many offers a buyer can receive
* Items must be in the buyer's cart for at least 2 days

If offers aren't sending, check [eBay's help page](https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-buy-now/adding-best-offer-listing?id=4144).

### Auto-accept and auto-decline

Nifty sends offers, but eBay's built-in features handle incoming offers from buyers.

When creating listings in Nifty, you can set:

* **Auto-accept** — Automatically accept offers above $X
* **Auto-decline** — Automatically decline offers below $X

### Limitations

| Limitation                       | Details                                         |
| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Offer validity window | Offers are valid for 2 days |
| Counter-offers                   | Counter-offers are not allowed via the eBay API |
| Send offers to existing watchers | Only new watches trigger offers |
| Override eBay eligibility | Some items can't receive offers |

# Automatic Offers: Mercari

Send automatic offers to Mercari buyers who like your items.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and find Mercari → Offers.

### Setting up offers

**Timing:** Choose when to send the offer after a like. You pick a 5-minute window, up to 3 hours later.

**Discount:** Minimum 10% off.

<figure><img src="/files/k151YvqDkwjTyqSpNsOl" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Waterfall offers

Mercari requires at least 72 hours between offers to the same buyer. When configuring [waterfall offers](/automation/automatic-offers#waterfall-offers), follow-ups must be scheduled at least 3 days apart.

### Limitations

| Limitation              | Details                       |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Send to existing likers | Only new likes trigger offers |

# Automatic Offers: Poshmark

Poshmark's offer system is powerful — 67% of sales come from offers. Automate it with Nifty.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) and find Poshmark → Offers.

### Offer types

Poshmark has two types of offers:

**Offers to Likers** go out to all likers, require a minimum 10% discount, and show up in the news feed.

**Bundle Offers** are private (seller to buyer), have no minimum discount, and don't show up in the feed. To view them on web, go to [My Offers](https://poshmark.com/offers/my_offers). In the app, tap **Offers** → **View All Active Offers**.

Nifty supports both. When a shopper likes one item, you choose how the offer is sent. When a shopper likes multiple items, you can set up a **Multi-item offer** (always sent as a bundle offer), or turn this off to only send single-item offers.

### Setting up offers

**Single-item offer:**

* **Offer type:** How you want to send the offer. See [Offer Types](#offer-types) for details.
* **Timing:** Choose when to send the offer after a like. You pick a 5-minute window, up to 3 hours later.
* **Discount:** Minimum 10% off.

**Multi-item offer**: If enabled, Nifty detects when a buyer is done browsing your closet by waiting for an extended break in their like activity. Then we send a bundle offer for everything they liked.

**Bundle comment:** If you send a bundle offer (either via the single- or multi- item offer), and there are no other comments on the bundle, Nifty will add this as the first comment.

<figure><img src="/files/B55q6G4LVuZ02mxj6ypQ" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Nifty will only add a comment if there are no other comments on the bundle.
{% endhint %}

### Public bundle discount

If you have a public bundle discount on Poshmark, your automatic offer must be at least $1 lower than that discount. This is a Poshmark requirement — private offers must be better than what's publicly available.

Nifty handles this automatically. If your automatic offer does not beat your public offer, we'll adjust the price in order to successfully send the offer.

### Limitations

| Limitation               | Details                                                                                                                                                                          |
| ------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Whole number pricing | Poshmark only allows whole dollar amounts. Offers are rounded down. |
| Multi-quantity purchases | If a buyer likes a multi-quantity item and then buys it before we can send the offer, the offer will still be sent (because the item is still active when we check eligibility). |
| Send to existing likers | Only new likes trigger offers |

# Automatic Follows

Following other Poshmark users can help grow your audience. When you follow someone, they often check out your closet — and some follow back. Nifty automates this growth strategy.

### Where to find it

Go to the [**Dashboard**](https://app.nifty.ai/automation) → **Poshmark** → **Follows**.

### Types of follows

**Reciprocal follows** — Nifty checks who followed you in the past 24 hours and follows them back. This is a polite gesture that often leads to engagement.

**New follows** — Nifty finds active sellers on Poshmark and follows them. You can also choose to auto-unsubscribe from Live Show notifications (those can get noisy).

**Unfollows** — If your following list is getting unwieldy, Nifty can unfollow a set number of sellers per day.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If you're not following anyone, you won't be able to set up unfollows. To check your true following count, go to your Poshmark closet and click into the Following tab — the number shown on the tab itself is often wrong.
{% endhint %}

### Setting up follows

In addition to reciprocating follows, you can follow up to 1,000 active sellers per day and unfollow up to 1,000 sellers.

<figure><img src="/files/PXu9WWD2CQrMPl9789Bd" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Limitations

| Limitation                 | Details                                     |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| Target specific user types | Can't filter by seller size, location, etc. |
| Set specific follow times | Nifty spreads follows throughout the day |

# Analytics

Nifty's **Analytics** helps you understand your reselling business — what's selling, what it costs, and what you're actually making.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Analytics**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics) in the left sidebar (computer) or bottom navigation bar (mobile).

<figure><img src="/files/UfwrZW5seqCdCOIN4SC1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What's included

| Tab               | What it does                                                             |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Orders** | All your sales across connected marketplaces, with automatic fee parsing |
| **Expenses** | Business expenses and mileage tracking |
| **Insights** | Charts and visualizations of your business performance |
| **Profit & Loss** | Downloadable reports for accounting and taxes |

### How it works

When you make a sale on a connected marketplace, Nifty:

1. Detects the sale (within 15 minutes) and marks the listing as **Sold** in your [**Inventory Manager**](/inventory-management/inventory-manager)
2. Auto‑delists the other listings (if [**Auto‑Delisting**](/auto-delisting/auto-delisting) is enabled)
3. Imports the sale into your [**Orders**](/analytics/orders) table with fees parsed automatically
4. Includes it in your [**Insights**](/analytics/insights-and-reports#insights) charts and [**Profit & Loss**](/analytics/insights-and-reports#profit-and-loss) reports

Add your expenses in the [**Expenses**](/analytics/expenses) tab, and Nifty combines everything to calculate your actual profit.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If the item isn't in your **Inventory Manager**, its sale won't appear in **Orders** automatically. You can still bring it in by clicking **Import** at the top of the **Orders** tab.
{% endhint %}

### What Analytics tracks

* Sales on **Poshmark**, **eBay**, **Mercari**, **Depop**, **Etsy**, and **Whatnot**
* Marketplace fees, shipping fees, promoted listing fees
* Business expenses and mileage
* SKU, listed date, and **Cost of goods** (pulled from your listings)

### What Analytics doesn't track

* **Offline sales** — In-person sales, markets, cash transactions
* **Unconnected platforms** — Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, and other unsupported marketplaces

For sales Nifty can't detect, we recommend tracking them in a separate spreadsheet.

### Plans that include Analytics

| Plan                        | Includes Analytics |
| --------------------------- | ------------------ |
| **Poshmark Automation**     | ❌ Not included     |
| **eBay Automation**         | ❌ Not included     |
| **Full Automation**         | ❌ Not included     |
| **Crosslisting Plus / Pro** | ✅ Included         |
| **Bundle Plus / Pro**       | ✅ Included         |

# Orders

The **Orders** table gives you a complete view of your sales across all marketplaces. Nifty automatically parses receipts to extract marketplace fees, shipping fees, and promoted fees — so you can track profits without manual data entry.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Analytics**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics) → **Orders**.

<figure><img src="/files/IGeMcKQqnEhPbUIFHvuq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### What's imported automatically

For each sale, Nifty pulls in:

| Field                  | Description                                               |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sale Price** | The amount the item sold for |
| **Collected Shipping** | Shipping fee collected from the buyer (see note below) |
| **Refund** | The amount refunded to the buyer, if any |
| **Standard Fees** | Transaction and platform fees charged by the marketplace |
| **Shipping Fees** | Cost of shipping labels purchased through the marketplace |
| **Promoted Fees** | Advertising fees for promoted listings |

#### How Collected Shipping works

This field shows shipping payments you received from buyers — but it varies by platform:

**eBay and Etsy:** The buyer pays you for shipping, then you purchase a label. Both amounts appear in your analytics (**Collected Shipping** and **Shipping Fees**).

**Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Whatnot:** The marketplace collects shipping directly from the buyer and provides you a label. Since you're not involved in the transaction, **Collected Shipping** is $0 for these platforms. However, Poshmark allows you to offer a shipping discount, which will show up as **Shipping Fees**.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** If you ship on your own (not using the platform's labels), we can't capture that shipping data.
{% endhint %}

### What you can edit

When a sale is linked to an item in your **Inventory Manager**, we automatically pull through the SKU, listed date, and **Cost of goods**. All of these remain editable.

Click **Edit** on any sale to add:

* **Shipping Costs** — Shipping costs outside the marketplace (third-party tools, etc.)
* **Other Costs** — Any per-sale costs you want to track

For bulk expenses not tied to specific sales, use the **Expenses** tab instead.

<figure><img src="/files/1RWMSntIncGwx47ci0St" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Sale statuses

Use the status filter to find specific types of sales:

| Status                 | Meaning                                              |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pending Data** | Sale detected, but full details aren't available yet |
| **Completed** | All data imported successfully |
| **Partially Refunded** | Buyer received a partial refund |
| **Cancelled** | Sale was cancelled or fully refunded |
|                        |                                                      |

<figure><img src="/files/LavJNJhrx3VTCT1FY0c0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** **Pending Data** sales are excluded from Insights. **Refresh** them to include in your reports.
{% endhint %}

### Refreshing and importing data

When Nifty detects a sale, some details may not be immediately available. Shipping labels are generated after checkout, and refunds happen later.

**Refresh** — Select specific rows and click **Refresh** at the bottom to pull the latest data.

**Import** — Click **Import** in the top-right to bulk-refresh an entire time period, or to pull in sales that happened before you added items to Nifty.

<figure><img src="/files/dk97kUim6dryrKVKxMl6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Historical orders

Nifty can import up to one year of sales history, calculated from today's date. When you first sign up, we recommend clicking **Import** in the top-right, selecting your date range, and pulling this data in. This will allow you to easily compare this year's performance to last year's.

### When sales don't appear

**eBay:** Sometimes orders need to be marked as shipped before they can be imported. If you don't see a sale, ship the order and try again.

**Mercari:** Orders always need to be shipped before import. You can verify this yourself — if you check [Mercari's Sales Reports](https://www.mercari.com/us/selling/reports/), the sale won't appear there either until it's shipped.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** After a sale is detected, Nifty will automatically try to bring it into your **Analytics** over the course of 72 hours. If it's not shipped by then, you'll need to **Import** it manually.
{% endhint %}

### Offline sales

Nifty doesn't support manual sale entry yet — we're focused on expanding marketplace integrations and don't want to create conflicts with auto-detected sales.

If you sell in person, at markets, or on unsupported platforms (for example, Facebook Marketplace), we recommend tracking those sales in a separate spreadsheet for now.

### eBay auctions

Although auction-style listings can't be brought into the **Inventory Manager**, their sales data can be brought into **Analytics** by clicking **Import** in the top-right.

### Limitations

There are a few cases where we can't extract complete data:

On **eBay**, we can't extract **Shipping Fees** for international orders. We also can't get **Shipping Fees** for labels purchased through PayPal or the Bulk Shipping Tool — these are API limitations on eBay's side.

On **Etsy**, we can't extract **Shipping Fees** or **Promoted Fees** (offsite advertising fees) due to API limitations.

For such sales, we recommend either:

* Clicking [**Edit**](#what-you-can-edit) at the top right, and entering the correct fees in **Shipping Costs** and **Other Costs**.
* Adding an [**Expense**](/analytics/expenses) that represents your fees for the week, month, etc. depending on your bookkeeping preferences.

# Expenses

Track your business expenses in one place. Nifty uses this data alongside your sales to generate [**Profit & Loss**](/analytics/insights-and-reports#profit-and-loss) statements.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Expenses**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics/expenses) (in **Analytics**).

<figure><img src="/files/vyT5rzMvwpQP8R4yAlI1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Recording expenses

You can add expenses manually or import them from a spreadsheet.

**Add** — Click **Add**, then enter the date, description, category, and amount for a single expense.

**Import** — Click **Import** in the top-right to bring in multiple expenses via a spreadsheet. We'll give you a template that you can use.

We provide standard business categories plus specialized ones for resellers. When recording travel for sourcing (driving to the thrift store, rideshare to an estate sale), always use **Sourcing Transportation** — this helps us accurately calculate your total cost of goods.

### Mileage tracking

For personal vehicles, you can track either:

* **Actual expenses** — Gas, repairs, maintenance
* **Mileage** — Distance traveled (we calculate the deduction using US or Canadian rates)

Once you choose actual expenses for a vehicle, you must use that method for the vehicle's lifetime.

For rental cars and rideshare, enter the actual expense amount.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note for Canadian sellers:** The mileage rate lowers after the first 5,000 km. Nifty doesn't currently account for this reduced rate.
{% endhint %}

### Inventory costs

How you track inventory costs depends on your accounting method:

#### Accrual accounting

The cost is recorded when you sell the item.

* Enter **Cost of goods** when creating listings, or after the sale
* Your **Profit & Loss** statement will show a **COGS (Orders)** line item
* Don't add **Inventory Purchases** as expenses — they'll be ignored

#### Cash accounting

The cost is recorded when you buy the item.

* Add purchases under the **Inventory Purchases** category
* Your **Profit & Loss** statement will show an **Inventory Purchases (Expenses)** line item
* You can still add **Cost of goods** to track margins, but it won't affect financial calculations

<figure><img src="/files/YInTIAEAuxQJl56Iw0ef" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Limitations

| Limitation              | Details                                                 |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Recurring expenses | No option to set up automatic monthly entries |
| Credit card integration | Can't import expenses from bank or credit card accounts |
| Split transactions | Each expense is one category — split manually if needed |

# Insights & Reports

Analyze your business through interactive charts and downloadable reports. Both tabs pull from the same data — your **Orders** and **Expenses**.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Insights**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics) or [**Profit & Loss**](https://app.nifty.ai/analytics/reports) (in **Analytics**).

### Insights

**Insights** shows your business at a glance:

* **Key metrics** — Units listed, units sold, and sell-through rate with period-over-period comparisons
* **Revenue vs. Profit** — How revenue and profit change over time
* **Totals by marketplace** — Profit, fees, and cost of goods broken down by platform
* **Averages by marketplace** — Compare sale price, profit, and days listed across platforms
* **Top selling brands** — Your best-performing brands by units sold
* **Top selling categories** — Visual breakdown of what's selling

<figure><img src="/files/BT16EXTi32sJtk23Sxnk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** **Pending Data** and **Cancelled** orders are excluded from **Insights**. Refresh pending orders in **Orders** to include them in your reports.
{% endhint %}

### How metrics are calculated

#### Key metrics

| Metric            | How it's calculated                               |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| Units Listed | Total items created or imported during the period |
| Units Sold | Total items sold during the period. |
| Sell Through Rate | Units sold divided by units listed. |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Period comparisons:** Each metric shows a comparison against the previous period. The previous period is a rolling window of the same length immediately before your selected range — it is **not** calendar-aligned. For example, if you select April 1–22 (22 days), the previous period is March 10–31 (22 days).
{% endhint %}

#### Revenue vs. Profit

| Metric        | How it's calculated                                          |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Total Revenue | Sum of total price (including shipping) minus refunds. |
| Total Profit | Revenue minus all costs: fees, COGS, shipping, and expenses. |

#### Totals by marketplace

| Metric | How it's calculated                                                  |
| ------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Profit | Total profit per marketplace. |
| Fees | Platform fee + transaction fee. Excludes shipping and promoted fees. |
| COGS | Cost of goods sold per marketplace. |

#### Averages by marketplace

| Metric      | How it's calculated                                                                   |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Sale Price | Average item price (excludes shipping). Matches the sale price column in CSV exports. |
| Profit | Average profit per item, after marketplace fees and COGS. |
| Days Listed | Average days between listing and sale. Only includes items with known listing dates. |

### Profit & Loss

**Profit & Loss** lets you generate downloadable reports. Click **Export** to create:

| Report                  | What it includes                          |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| Profit & Loss Statement | Revenue, expenses, and net profit |
| Orders Report | All sales with associated costs |
| Expenses Report | Itemized expenses by category |
| Active Inventory | Currently listed items with SKUs and COGS |

Each report exports as CSV for use in spreadsheets or for your accountant.

<figure><img src="/files/DYsE4Z9RJiIizaPDBG2M" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Tax season

These reports are designed to give tax professionals what they need. The Profit & Loss statement follows standard accounting formats, and the detailed breakdowns make it easy to answer follow-up questions.

# Ask Otto

**Ask Otto** is Nifty's AI assistant. Otto can answer questions about Nifty, look up information about your account, and — depending on your plan — take actions on your behalf, all with your approval before anything goes live.

**Ask Otto is included on every paid Nifty plan**, but what Otto can do depends on your plan:

* **Crosslisting** and **Bundle** plans get the full assistant — Otto can search your inventory, pull up your sales and analytics, and take actions like editing items and managing labels on your behalf.
* **Automation** plans (Poshmark, eBay, Full Automation) get a more limited Otto: it can answer questions about Nifty and review your account, but it can't make changes per your instructions.

### Where to find it

Go to [**Ask Otto**](https://app.nifty.ai/otto) in the left sidebar (computer) or bottom navigation bar (mobile).

### What Otto can do

Otto is being released in stages. Here's what's available now and what's coming next.

#### On every plan

* Answer questions about Nifty features and how to use the platform
* Check your account details, subscription, and **Smart Credits** balance
* Review your automation and auto-delisting settings

#### On Crosslisting and Bundle plans

Alongside the above, the full assistant can:

* Search and look up your inventory items and listing details
* Get a snapshot of your inventory health (status counts, issues, failed listings)
* Look up recent sales and auto-delisting status
* Search your order history with financial details
* View sales, profit, and performance analytics (7-day, 30-day, 90-day)
* Generate profit & loss reports for any date range
* Add or remove labels on your items
* Create and update labels
* Favorite or unfavorite items
* Add or clear private notes on items
* Edit item titles, descriptions, conditions, condition descriptions, prices, quantities, cost of goods, and SKUs

{% hint style="info" %}
When Otto proposes an action, it won't execute until you approve it. You can review, approve, or reject each action individually or in bulk.
{% endhint %}

#### Coming soon

* Create inventory items
* Edit categories and attributes
* Run longer inventory-related tasks
* Schedule tasks to run automatically and on a schedule
* More actions as Otto learns new skills

{% hint style="info" %}
Otto is in beta. New capabilities will be added over time. If something doesn't work as expected, let us know at <hello@nifty.ai>.
{% endhint %}

### Usage and credits

Every plan comes with a free monthly Otto allowance that resets each billing period. You can track your usage directly in the Otto chat.

* On **Crosslisting** and **Bundle** plans, once you exceed the free allowance Otto starts consuming [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits) based on conversation length — shorter chats cost less. When your **Smart Credits** run out, Otto becomes unavailable until your next billing cycle or until you purchase more credits.
* **Automation** plans don't include **Smart Credits**, so the free monthly allowance is your full allotment. Once you use it up, Otto pauses until your allowance resets the following month. You can email us anytime at <hello@nifty.ai> in the meantime.

Either way, you can still use all other Nifty features normally.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Smart Credits** are shared across all AI features — **Ask Otto**, [**AI Listing Generator**](/crosslisting/ai-listing-generator), and background removal. Your free Otto allowance is separate and resets each billing period. See [**Smart Credits**](/crosslisting/smart-credits) for monthly allocations and pricing.
{% endhint %}

### Plans that include Ask Otto

| Plan                    | Includes Ask Otto    |
| ----------------------- | -------------------- |
| Poshmark Automation     | ✅ Included (limited) |
| eBay Automation         | ✅ Included (limited) |
| Full Automation         | ✅ Included (limited) |
| Crosslisting Plus / Pro | ✅ Included           |
| Bundle Plus / Pro       | ✅ Included           |

{% hint style="info" %}
If you don't have a paid plan, our [documentation site](https://docs.nifty.ai) has an AI-powered search bar that can answer general questions about Nifty features — but it's a support-only tool that cannot access your account, inventory, or sales data, and cannot take actions or interact with Nifty on your behalf.
{% endhint %}

# Connect via MCP (Beta)

{% hint style="warning" %}
This feature is in **beta** and available on a request basis. To request access, email <mcp@nifty.ai>.
{% endhint %}

You can connect your Nifty account to [Claude](https://claude.ai) or [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com) using our official Nifty connectors, and ask questions about your inventory, orders, and sales in plain English. The assistant will pull answers directly from your account data.

For example, you can ask things like:

* "How many items do I have listed on Poshmark?"
* "Show me my sales for the last 30 days"
* "What's my profit and loss for May?"
* "Find my inventory items with the label 'Summer'"

{% hint style="info" %}
This connection is currently **read-only** — the assistant can look up your data but cannot make changes to your account. We're working on adding actions like editing items and managing labels in a future update.
{% endhint %}

### Requirements

* A Nifty plan that includes inventory features (Crosslisting Plus/Pro or Bundle Plus/Pro)
* MCP access enabled on your Nifty account (email <mcp@nifty.ai> to request it)

{% hint style="info" %}
On Claude Team/Enterprise and ChatGPT Business/Enterprise/Edu plans, a workspace admin must enable the Nifty connector for the organization before members can connect it.
{% endhint %}

### Set up in Claude

Nifty is now available as an official connector in the Claude connectors directory, so you no longer need to add a server URL manually.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Connect the Nifty connector

Open the [Nifty connector listing](https://claude.ai/new#directory/connectors/nifty) in Claude (or go to **Customize → Connectors** in settings and browse the directory for **Nifty**). Click **Connect to Claude** and sign in to your Nifty account when prompted
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Enable it in a conversation

In any Claude conversation, click the **+** button in the chat input, hover over **Connectors**, and toggle **Nifty** on. You can then start asking questions about your account.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Set up in ChatGPT

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Install the Nifty plugin

Open the [Nifty plugin listing](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a73e4d5bcf0819198829ebfccd0b014?q=nifty) in ChatGPT (or browse the **Plugins** directory and search for **Nifty**). Click **Install plugin** and sign in to your Nifty account when prompted
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Use it in a conversation

In a new ChatGPT conversation, ask a question about your Nifty account — for example, "How many items do I have listed on Poshmark?" ChatGPT will use the Nifty connector to look up the answer.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

# Selling on Depop

This guide covers setting up Depop Payments and Shipping, plus how titles, SKUs, and videos behave when you list or relist through Nifty.

### Depop Payments

To create new listings on Depop, you must first set up [Depop Payments](https://depophelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/18320822281361-Depop-Payments):

1. Open the Depop app
2. Attempt to create a new listing
3. You'll be prompted to sign up for Depop Payments — complete this process

### Depop Shipping

If you'd like to use [Depop Shipping](https://depophelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/16523051318033-Shipping-Guide-US#shipping-guide-us-0-0), follow these steps:

1. Open the Depop app and navigate to the **Shipping** section
2. Select **Depop Shipping**
3. Create a test listing using this shipping method (you can delete it immediately after)

This ensures Depop Shipping is available when listing through Nifty.

### Titles

You may notice an AI-generated title when viewing your listing on Depop directly — this is because Depop doesn't have a traditional title field. The title is generated by their platform and cannot be edited.

### SKUs

Depop handles [SKUs differently than other marketplaces](https://depophelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/38716610913681-How-to-use-SKUs-on-Depop): they must be unique across your shop, can't be edited once published, and are visible to buyers underneath the listing description. For these reasons, Nifty doesn't publish SKUs to Depop when creating or relisting listings. If your SKUs are saved in Depop and nowhere else, see [Preserving SKUs](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-relists-depop#preserving-skus) before turning on automatic relists.

### Videos

Nifty can't create listings with videos on Depop, and this includes relists — if you relist a listing that has a video, the new listing won't have one.

### Limitations

| Limitation     | Details                                                   |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Binding offers | Offers on Depop are not binding |
| Bulk offers | Depop's API does not support sending offers to all likers |

# Selling on eBay

Use this guide to get your eBay account ready to list with Nifty and understand how eBay’s listing limits, insertion fees, and auction rules interact with Nifty.

### Business policies

To create new listings on eBay, you must first set up business policies. You need at least one of each:

* Shipping policy
* Return policy
* Payment policy

To set up business policies:

1. Go to your [eBay Business Policies](https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage)
2. Create at least one policy for each type

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** We recommend watching [this video tutorial](https://youtu.be/Iv-LxM8yA0k?si=j6dgz8gb0f6185be) created by one of our customers, which guides you through the process step-by-step.
{% endhint %}

### Listing limits

eBay has two types of limits: a total number of listings, and their total value. eBay reviews your account every month and adjusts the limits automatically.

If you'd like to request a limit increase, you can follow the [instructions on eBay's site](https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107).

### Insertion fees

eBay allows 250 free listings per month. After that, eBay charges a $0.35 insertion fee every time an item is listed, and every time an item auto-renews (every 30 days by default).

If you have more than 250 items, consider upgrading to an eBay Store. This is a monthly subscription that allows for more "free" listings, and often works out cheaper than paying insertion fees.

#### How Nifty's recreate feature affects insertion fees

Nifty's [**Automatic Recreates**](/automation/automatic-relists/automatic-recreates-ebay) feature doesn't change your total insertion fees versus eBay's auto-renewal. Here's why:

* eBay charges an insertion fee when a listing is created and when it auto-renews
* Nifty recreates listings about 30 minutes before auto-renewal to give you a fresh listing ID
* So although you pay the fee slightly sooner, your total cost doesn't change

### Auction-style listings

Nifty's **Inventory Manager** supports fixed-price listings only. Auction-style listings cannot be modified or ended freely, so we can't manage them.

If you already have auction-style listings and want to bring them into Nifty, you'll need to:

1. End the auction (if eBay allows — auctions with bids can't be ended)
2. Use eBay's **Sell similar** to create a new listing
3. Choose fixed-price format instead of auction

Sales from auction listings can still be imported into **Analytics**.

### Troubleshooting

#### “The item cannot be listed or modified…” error

When listing through Nifty, eBay may return an error that looks like this:

> The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words.

Unfortunately, we don't receive any extra detail beyond this message. eBay doesn't tell Nifty which word, field, or policy is causing the issue.

**To resolve it:** contact eBay Support and share the exact listing details and error text.

#### "Please provide a valid Shipping Package type" error

This error means your shipping policy is incompatible with the item being listed. To fix it, you'll need to update your shipping policy on eBay directly. If you're unsure how to do so, contact eBay Support — they can help identify what needs adjustment.

### Limitations

| Limitation                     | Details                                                                            |
| ------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Connect multiple eBay accounts | Only one eBay account per Nifty account |
| Manage auction-style listings | Fixed-price only; see above for how to convert |
| Extract all shipping fees | International orders, PayPal labels, and Bulk Shipping Tool labels aren't captured |
| Update "Your Cost" on eBay | This is a new feature and not yet supported by the eBay API |
| Scheduled listings status | eBay **Scheduled** listings are imported and shown as **Listed** in Nifty |

# Selling on Etsy

Use this guide to check that your items qualify for Etsy, understand shop and listing fees, and see which Etsy actions are and aren’t available through Nifty.

### Allowed items

Etsy only allows three types of items on their platform:

* **Handmade** — Items you make yourself
* **Vintage** — Items 20+ years old
* **Craft/party supplies** — Materials for making things

Make sure your inventory fits these categories before opening a shop.

### Opening a shop

Opening an Etsy shop costs $29. This charge is non-refundable, so please make sure you understand what types of items can sell on Etsy before signing up.

### Listing fees

Etsy charges a $0.20 listing fee every time an item is listed, and every time an item auto-renews (every 4 months).

Listings created through Nifty are set up for auto-renewal by default. You can turn this off from Etsy directly if you prefer.

### Listing requirements

Etsy has strict formatting rules for listings. If a listing fails to publish, check these requirements:

**Titles**

* Must start with a letter or number (not a space or special character)
* Characters `%` `:` `&` may appear only once each
* Prohibited characters: `$` `^` `` ` `` `.` `°`
* No more than 3 words in all capitals

**Tags**

* Tags may only contain letters, digits, hyphens, single quotes, spaces, or underscores
* No duplicate tags

### Limitations

| Limitation                       | Details                                    |
| -------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Send offers                      | Etsy's API doesn't support this action     |
| Turn off auto-renewal from Nifty | Must be done directly on Etsy |
| Extract shipping label costs | API limitation — won't appear in Analytics |
| Extract offsite advertising fees | API limitation — won't appear in Analytics |

# Selling on Mercari

Use this guide to prepare your Mercari account for Nifty and understand Mercari’s verification steps, listing limits, and quantity rules.

### Account verification

To safely use a third-party listing tool, you must first [verify your information](https://www.mercari.com/us/help_center/topics/account/guides/verification-and-badges/):

1. Go to [**Settings** → **Verifications**](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/verifications/) and verify your phone, email, and government ID
2. Go to [**Settings** → **Tax Center**](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/taxcenter/) and submit your W9
3. Go to [**Settings** → **Account Security**](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/security/) and ensure either SMS or email is selected
4. Sign out of Mercari and sign back in — ensure you receive the verification code

### Payment method

To create new listings on Mercari, you must first add a valid credit or debit card:

1. Add a credit/debit card to [**My Payment Methods**](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/card/)
2. Go to your [**Tax Center**](https://www.mercari.com/mypage/taxcenter/) and ensure the payment method is set to a credit/debit card
3. Confirm the changes by creating a test listing (you can delete it immediately after)

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Other payment methods, like PayPal or Venmo, are not sufficient. It must be a card.
{% endhint %}

### Listing limit

Mercari uses a progressive listing limit system:

* New accounts start with a 100 listing limit
* Your limit increases by 100 listings for each completed sale
* For example: after 1 sale your limit becomes 200, after 2 sales it becomes 300, and so on

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** Listing limits are handled directly by Mercari, and you'll need to reach out to their Support team with any issues.
{% endhint %}

### Quantity

Mercari only supports quantity of 1 per listing. If you sell multi-quantity items and use **Auto-Adjust Quantity**, Nifty handles this automatically — see [Enabling Auto-Adjust Quantity](/auto-delisting/setup-guide#enabling-auto-adjust-quantity) for details.

### Duplicate listings

When listing via Mercari's API, sometimes two listings are created instead of one. This is a known issue and has already been raised to our Mercari counterparts.

If this happens, go to the **Duplicates** page in your **Inventory Manager** and follow the steps in [Finding and Fixing Duplicates](/inventory-management/finding-and-fixing-duplicates).

### Shipping labels

Mercari updates their shipping labels annually to account for postage increases. When editing a listing, you may need to select a new label if the previous price is no longer available.

### Limitations

| Limitation                        | Details                                                       |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| List more than quantity 1 | Mercari platform limitation |
| Relist authenticated luxury items | Mercari Authenticate™ status doesn't transfer to new listings |

# Selling on Poshmark

Use this guide to understand how Poshmark’s listing limits and policies affect how you list and relist with Nifty.

### Listing limit

Poshmark allows up to 300 new listings within a 24-hour period. Once you reach this limit, you'll need to wait until the period resets.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** If you use Nifty to relist automatically, these "new" listings count against your 300/day limit.
{% endhint %}

### Account restrictions

If you're new to Poshmark and create multiple listings in a short period of time, Poshmark may temporarily restrict your account. This is a security measure — they want to confirm you're a real seller.

**To resolve it:** reach out to [Poshmark Support](mailto:support@poshmark.com) and ask for your listings to be reinstated.

### Closet Clear Out

Poshmark Closet Clear Out (CCO) is a periodic flash sale event where sellers discount items by at least 10%, triggering notifications to users who have liked those items and offering discounted or free shipping.

Nifty doesn't have a dedicated CCO feature, but you can participate using Poshmark directly:

1. In Poshmark, sort your closet by number of likes
2. Edit prices for items with more than one like (discount by at least 10%)
3. After the event, run a **Full Sync** in Nifty to bring in the updated prices

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** You could use Nifty's **Update Price** feature to update Poshmark prices in bulk, but there's no way to target only items with more than one like.
{% endhint %}

### Limitations

| Limitation                   | Details                                               |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Whole number pricing | Poshmark only allows whole dollar amounts |
| Mark items as "Not for Sale" | Items can only be delisted, not marked as unavailable |
| Share more than 8,000/day | Maximum for account safety |

# Selling on Whatnot

Use this guide to understand how Whatnot works, what's supported in Nifty, and which Whatnot workflows aren't available yet.

### Connection methods

At this time, you must use the Chrome extension to connect to Whatnot. For step-by-step instructions, see [Connecting Whatnot](/connections/connecting-whatnot).

### Shows

Shows are Whatnot's live sales events, a unique feature compared to other marketplaces. While shows are a popular way to sell on Whatnot, you can also list items on your profile to be sold in a more typical marketplace format.

Nifty pulls in your upcoming scheduled shows in real time, so you can attach a listing to one or more shows directly while creating it in Nifty. If you don't have any shows scheduled yet, head to your [Whatnot shows dashboard](https://www.whatnot.com/dashboard/lives) to create one. You must create a show before posting your first listing — but don't worry, if you're not ready to go live, you can cancel it before it starts.

### Listing types

Every Whatnot listing is either a **Buy It Now** or an **Auction**. The choice changes how the item sells and which extra options are available.

#### Buy It Now

A fixed-price listing, where the first buyer to checkout gets the item. Buy It Now listings can be:

* **Listed in the open marketplace** — Buyers can find and purchase the item any time.
* **Added to one or more shows** — The item appears in your live stream *and* stays available in the open marketplace.
* **Reserved for live** — Toggle this on to make the item available *only* during your show. It won't show up in the marketplace before or after.

Optional add-ons for Buy It Now:

* **Accept offers** — Buyers can send offers through Whatnot's native offer system.
* **Flash Sale** — Schedule a limited-time discount (by percentage or fixed amount) that runs for a set duration only during a live show. You can choose whether the item is still available at full price after the flash sale ends and optionally cap how many a single buyer can grab. You cannot accept offers on items with a Flash Sale.

#### Auction

A timed competitive bid, run only during a live show. Buyers place bids while you present the item on stream, and the highest bid at the end wins.

Optional add-ons for Auction:

* **Sudden Death** — Optional Whatnot mechanic where the auction ends a few seconds after the last bid (rather than at a fixed time). It keeps bidding tight and is great for fast-paced shows.

### Condition

Whatnot has an optional condition field that is more specific than Nifty's top-level condition. We are working on auto-populating this field based on the condition selected elsewhere.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tip**: We recommend filling out this field, as listings without a condition are marked as "low quality" on Whatnot.
{% endhint %}

### Shipping profiles

To list on Whatnot through Nifty, you'll need a shipping profile set up on your Whatnot account. Nifty finds your profiles when you create or edit a listing — if you don't see a profile in the dropdown, create one in your [Whatnot seller settings](https://www.whatnot.com/dashboard/shipments/profiles).

### Troubleshooting

#### My items are not showing up when I search on Whatnot

If your items are active on Whatnot but do not appear in the marketplace search results, it is likely due to Whatnot’s account milestone requirements.

For Buy It Now listings to be searchable, Whatnot requires sellers to meet the following criteria:

1. You must have hosted a live show within the last 90 days.
2. Your account must be free of any active restrictions or strikes.
3. You must have successfully initiated and received at least one payout.

Once you meet that final requirement of a completed payout, Whatnot automatically enables search visibility for your entire inventory

### Limitations

| Limitation              | Details                                                                                                                                     |

| Send offers | Buyers can receive offers via Whatnot's native offer system (when enabled on your listing), but you cannot send or manage offers from Nifty |
| Closet-style automation | Auto-follow and auto-relist on Whatnot are not supported in Nifty |
| Videos in listings | Whatnot video upload is not currently supported through Nifty listing |
