Creating listings
After setting up your Inventory Manager, you’re ready to start creating listings across multiple marketplaces. Nifty provides several efficient ways to list your items, whether you’re creating brand new listings or expanding existing ones to additional platforms.
Adding new listings
Single listings
To create a new listing, simply click the ”+ Add item” button at the top of your Inventory Manager. This opens a form where you can:
- Select which marketplaces you want to list on
- Upload photos and videos
- Enter item details (title, description, price, etc.)
Once complete, you can publish your listings to all selected marketplaces simultaneously! Each listing you create will use 1 listing credit per marketplace.
Not ready to publish? You can save your work as a draft and finish it later.
Bulk listing with AI
For sellers with multiple items to list, our bulk listing feature dramatically speeds up the process:

Upload media: Head to the bulk generate tool and upload photos and videos for each item you want to list.

Generate with AI: Click “Generate” to create AI-powered drafts. This uses 1 smart credit per item. You can track progress from the Drafts page.

Review your drafts: When your drafts are ready, click on any draft to review its details. Use the navigation bar at the top to move between drafts and toggle “Ready to list” for items you’ve approved.

Bulk publish & schedule: Once marked as “ready to list,” select your approved drafts and click “Publish” at the bottom to list them all at once.
You can publish immediately or schedule your listings for a future date (up to 30 days ahead). This allows you to optimize your listings for peak shopping hours or align them with social media drops. Scheduled listings can be unscheduled anytime before publication.
Crosslisting existing listings
Once your inventory has been synced, Nifty highlights any gaps and allows you to quickly crosslist them:
When you click the ”+ List on [Marketplace]” button, Nifty opens a pre-populated form with AI-translated details from your existing listing. Our AI automatically adapts information like category, size, and other specifics to match the new marketplace’s format.
This intelligent crosslisting process:
- Saves time by eliminating manual data entry
- Ensures marketplace-specific requirements are met
- Uses 1 listing credit per crosslist
While bulk crosslisting with AI isn’t available at the moment, we’re actively exploring this feature for a future update.
Editing your listings
You can edit your listings directly from Nifty by selecting “Edit item” from the three-dot menu. Edits are completely free (no listing credits used) and save you time by letting you update multiple marketplaces at once.
Tip: To save time, we only update photos when changes are detected. Need to update your photos? Just drag any photo to a new position and back again — you’ll immediately see a “Changes detected” indicator.
Templates and shortcuts
Nifty offers several time-saving features to help you create listings faster and maintain consistency across your inventory:
Similar listings
When creating a new listing, Nifty automatically suggests similar items from your inventory. Simply click any suggestion to instantly populate item specifics and shipping details.
This smart system eliminates the need to manually create templates — it intelligently identifies relevant matches based on what you’re currently listing.
Create from…
Another option is to duplicate all the details of an existing listing using the “Create from…” option. This makes it quick and easy to create a new listing with the same information.
If there’s an item you repeatedly duplicate, you can “Favorite” it using the star button. This gives you easy access to the item whenever you need it.
Shipping defaults
Save time on repetitive shipping configurations by creating reusable defaults in your Inventory Settings. Set up common shipping profiles for different item types (t-shirts, shoes, jewelry, etc.) that work across all marketplaces.
When listing a new item, simply select the appropriate shipping default to automatically populate all relevant shipping fields on every platform simultaneously.

Free editing tools
All Nifty users have access to our complete photo editing suite:
- Basic adjustments: Zoom, rotate, and crop your images
- Visual enhancements: Apply filters and adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation
- Annotations: Add text or shapes to highlight important details
If your photo is not a square, we’ll center it against a white background before posting to the marketplace.
