CrosslistingAuto-delisting

Auto-delisting

For our crosslisters, “sale detection” is always on; when an item sells on a connected marketplace, we’ll update your Inventory Manager within 15 minutes.

When a single-quantity item sells, Nifty can automatically delist it from other platforms. When a multi-quantity item sells, Nifty can automatically adjust the quantity on all other platforms.

There are three requirements before Nifty takes these actions. If you’d like to opt-in to these features, please review this guide to make sure your items are eligible.

Prerequisites

The feature must be turned on

To enable these features, head over to your Inventory Settings and select your desired options.

The item must be verified

Because your imported inventory was automatically matched by our AI, we need you to verify these matches before we can auto-delist or auto-adjust. You can do this by selecting all the displayed rows and clicking “Verify” at the bottom. Unverified items will have an orange exclamation mark.

Crosslisting will also automatically verify the item.

Example of unverified item

The item cannot have a “mismatched quantity” warning

Finally, the quantity must be uniform across all platforms according to our system. Mercari does not count towards this warning since it always has a quantity of 1.

To ensure you’re set up for success, please follow these steps:

  1. Perform a “full sync” to ensure all your items and their quantities are up-to-date.
  2. Use the “mismatched quantities” filter to find affected items:

To address this warning, you have two options:

  1. Click “Edit listing” to edit the quantity directly from Nifty.
  2. Edit the quantity from the platforms themselves; once finished, select the row in your Inventory Manager and click “Refresh” at the bottom:

Important exceptions

Nifty cannot auto-delist or auto-adjust items that have multiple sizes. If you’d like to take advantage of these features, please create one item per size.

If you’ve followed all the steps above and are still experiencing issues, please review the following common scenarios and solutions.

External relists

When you relist outside of Nifty (e.g., using “end and sell similar” on eBay or a secondary service), our system will ultimately pull in the “new” listing on a new row, leaving the old, delisted listing on the original row. This is problematic for auto-delisting as the relevant items are no longer on the same row. To address this:

  1. Perform a “full sync” to ensure all your items are imported and up-to-date.
  2. Visit the “Duplicates” page, which will proactively show you groups of listings that could be identical.
  3. Use drag & drop to combine the rows - simply drag the “Listed” version over the “Delisted” version.

Reconciling your inventory

💡

Tip: Nifty offers both automatic and manual relisting features that handle this transition seamlessly. When you relist through Nifty, we automatically swap the old and new listings without creating additional rows.

Connection fluctuations

Similar to how a website naturally logs you out, your marketplace connections will naturally expire. During this lapse, auto-delisting will not be fully operational, and we’ll send you an email about every sale that’s detected but cannot be delisted.

Once you reconnect, we recommend using the “partially delisted” filter to find any items where one listing is unavailable, but the others are not; this will save you the headache of combing through every sale:

This feature is also very helpful if you’ve recently set up auto-delisting, and have past sales that you need to address. Remember, auto-delisting only catches sales that happen after you’ve turned it on!

High-demand items

For particularly popular items that are getting attention across multiple platforms, our standard 15-minute auto-delisting window might not be fast enough to prevent double sales. For these special cases, you might consider manually delisting immediately after a sale for extra peace of mind.
